It just dawned on me why TT doesn’t get minutes on this team
VDN distributes minutes based solely on decision making, but only on the offensive end…..never mind actual production. Derrick lost his man 4 or 5 times in the first half. Brad and Taj couldn’t defend the paint or grab a defensive rebound if a $1M bonus was riding on it.
Yes, TT does take occasional ill-advised shots and has some bad TOs, but its this reason and this reason alone that outs him on the bench while Brad/Taj get the minutes. Taj is good at doing absolutely nothing on offense…which is to say, he doesn’t make bad decisions, but he also doesn’t do anything substantial either to contribute.

The thing is…..the one element of Pax’s drafting philosophy (getting guys from winning programs) seems to be the saving grace b/c the guys care and seem to keep playing hard for this guy.
