an open plea to jerry riensdorf, john paxson, and gar forman. time to get something done. you have had long enough.
the bulls are in a rather indifferent position right now, stand pat and wait and see how things shake out, or move some big contracts for expiring contracts to load up on cap space. i don't think that anyone would be surprized if the answer was niether! it is time to strike a deal, the kind of deal that all the big clubs make, the kind of deal that takes guts.....deal for a star player now. why? simple, the bulls can put together a big package to entice a trade, everyone on the roster except for rose and noah are fair game. and their number one pick in this year's draft? trade it, it is not going to be worth much to the bulls where they would be drafting. but to other teams it could help create another package deal for them to get better.in any deal to be made, extra players are bound to be involved. if you can add one of the best of the available potential free agants in the trade, then you are well ahead of the game. and best of all, you change the free agent land scape for 2010. other teams would then start to scramble, other pieces may then become available. it can work, it just takes vision and an owner willing to go for it. come on jerry wake up and realize how long it has been since the last championship......toooooo llloooonnngggg! look at two recent deals made by the celtics and the lakers...... low and behold they led to championships!! take a chance and you might just get rewarded, if not then i guess at least you could justify the prices that you charge to see these guys play. but do nothing, and your just a common thief, ripping off hard working people.
