joe (chicago)

Look into your crystal ball and sort out where the big free agents are going this summer!
Bill Simmons (12:08 PM)

If I had to guess at gunpoint: LeBron and Bosh (Chicago); Wade and Amare (Miami); David Lee, Joe Johnson (New York); Rudy Gay (Clippers).

follow up

Jeff (Kansas City, KS)

What would you put as the odds of each team (with enough cap space) to get Lebron?
Bill Simmons (12:35 PM)

Ok… Cavs (5-2)… Bulls (5-2)… Knicks (7-2)… Mavs (5-1)… Clips (10-1)… Nets (12-1)… Rockets (25-1)… Lakers (25-1)… Celtics (100-1).

it is so frustrating that the best place to chat about the bulls is dominated by a whiny drama queen moderator with a man crush on an average SG......6 recs

LOL

Is he the only writer giving the Bulls that much of a shot?
Has he ever claimed to have intimate knowledge of Lebron’s camp’s thoughts? If not, does he care that the sports world thinks he’s full of shit without revealing his source?

I guess not if it is how he earns his paycheck.

All your base are belong to Vinny.

I don't think it's due to being 'plugged in'

granted it no doubt influences him, but I don’t think his predictions are meant to be taken seriously, so I’d suggest nobody do so.

William "Worldwide" Wes

A mortgage broker turned everything about anything adviser to all young basketball prodigies that begin in AAU.

He’s a close friend to Lebron and his agent Leon Rose.

Rose represents Bosh too.

He is everywhere.

I think GQ did a piece on him. He’s involved in damn near everything player related.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

Well, that makes some sense toward his prediction of both 'bron and Bosh to Chicago
He’s a close friend to Lebron and his agent Leon Rose.
Rose represents Bosh too

But seems like posturing and making “linkable” ’net stories for the masses.

All your base are belong to Vinny.

He isn't an analyst..

He’s a guy who gives his opinion. In his world, outside of the Cavs, the Bulls make the most sense (and most would agree with that). I don’t know why there’s so much angst over this. The Bulls are his best option if he leaves the Cavs, so it only makes sense for him to say the Bulls have a decent chance.

I'm starting to think

that Simmons has some sort of close source to LeBron, because he’s really, really trumpeting this LeBron to Chicago thing.

Thrusting toward the playoffs, one game at a time.

Is he just writing

“I’m Awesome” columns?

Does he have a track record as a guru? I don’t read him to know enough.

Good

I thought the signing was good. Oof.

Oh well. Friends of The Chairman all got some of his money.

no way

i’m not sure why but for some reason simmons seems to have a tendency to kiss bulls fans’ collective a$$. maybe he’s trying to make up for the fifty million d-bag frat boys in red sox hats.
