I'd take the free-fall

if it meant there was once a title. Dumars deserves some benefit of the doubt. Ok, maybe not with lottery picks.

How would you feel about 6 titles in 8 years?

If you accept a six year free fall for one title, does that correlate to 36 years for 6?

Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and (there is no LLE thanks to the Pargo signing) will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.

I guess we'll find out in 2018 when John Paxson is shoving rings in my face

you suck!

But wasn’t that on Jerry Krause now we have a 3 headed monster GM (actually made some good moves it looks like now though)
Though now it seems like after the Pistons championship they did miss that guy like Melo.

thats a really nice "could have been" lineup.

“Turned down a trade of Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince and Rodney Stuckey for Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen. Note that aside from the talent element of this trade, both Celtics players were expiring contracts, alleviating the failure above of doubling-down $22M/yr. on two shooting guards. (note- Adrian Wojnarowski, linked above, was perhaps this summer’s earliest and most accurate source of player transactions. If someone in the Pistons organization passed on a trade, Dumars is ultimately responsible.)”

Wow why the hell wouldn’t Dumars take this trade and run? That was pretty damn foolish

I still can't believe he passed on National Champion Carmelo Anthony.

What are you doing? (Ozzie voice)

Beasley spent the first two quarters like he was wandering through a forest.-Neil Funk

The George Lucas

comparison was pretty cool. If Joe D really passed on that Ray Allen-Rondo trade, that was a big mistake. He could’ve righted a lot of wrongs with that move this summer.

Joakim on whether he ever tried tennis: "I played a little bit. If anybody on the Bulls wanted to play me, I would kick their ass."

Heh you get that money BG. Hes been injured though and also to point to never trading Rip I thought he should of been on the trading block all season. The Pistons were doing well at first with all their injuries.
Still thought they might as well have signed Avery too. I know their current coach has exp but his last job was offensive coach for the Cavs…
