The Bulls don’t usually lose one in a row. We just need to hope they dont have longer losing streaks than they have winning streaks. But how long will this losing streak be? over/under is 4.

He needs to start getting more steals by using his quickness. Watch how Rondo does it and mimic that style.

I’d like to see him get more steals. He’s probably the quickest player in the game and needs to be causing more havoc in the backcourt. There is no reason he should not be averaging 1.5 steals a game.

I agree

He has the strength, quickness and length to be a lock down defender. He just doesn’t have the effort or the technique.

It just bothers me

When I see Rondo averaging 2.5 steals a game and Rose .75. Rose is quicker than Rondo. I can deal with him having trouble against the P&R if he causes an extra turnover or two a game out of them.

rose does not have the same nose for the ball that rondo has. in fact, rose does not

have the same nose for the ball that stephen curry has. and im not sure rose is quicker than rondo at all.

They had an off night on the road. Probably should have won this game but that’s just how the NBA is. They’re a mediocre team that will lose games like this. Some of you act like this is the 96 Bulls dropping this one.

I hate when people call the Bulls mediocre.

Mediocre = bad. The Bulls are slightly (extremley slightly) above average. I base good vs bad on the .500 mark, with .500 being average.

mediocre DOES IN FACT mean average, it just usually has a negative connotation attached to it making it seem like it means bad…but i think most people on this blog when talking about the bulls being mediocre, mean they are just average, they will win enough games to make it into the playoffs, thats about as good as they can get…..maybe they beat a team in the first round…maybe….and then they are upgraded to being a good team….

The worst part is the organization, and alot of the fans sort of embrace the mediocrity, the averageness, to an extent…

We hadn't had an example of this for a while because we've been winning games

But this shows once again that we need 3s. It’s so hard to come back without shooting 3s, especially when the other team shoots them while protecting their lead.

Lack of 3’s leaves a much smaller margin for error. But this was a problem we knew we’d have and hopefully will be rectified in the offseason.

Except no one played well in the 3rd quarter, so heaping blame on Vinny and Deng is really odd.

Rose played stupid pick and roll defense, Hakim Warrick is a bad defensive player, they’re just not a good rebounding team without Noah. Wizards made their shitty jumpers, Bulls didn’t. We’ve seen this script 50 times over the past two years.

People are sure disappointed for a team that's the 27th best offense in the league.

And they didn’t acquire anyone at the deadline who’s going to make that measurably better. Hope they can get at least 2 out of 3 against Indy and Portland, because March is going to be absolute hell.

it was a qualitative thing. they took way to long to do anything on offense. there was no movement off the ball.

mediocre post scorers kept trying to get position only none of the were strong enough to win the fight for it, which wasted tons of time because the bulls kept looking to go to the post. you expect this team to take bad shots and miss them, but everyone looked lost tonight. i guess thats why i wanted to see rose try more stuff since hes the only really creative player on the team.

the WAS halfcourt offense was usually as follows.

Foye at the top of the key with the ball. WAS players execute series of screens and cuts foye waits for someone to get open. they do since its hard to keep track of all that movement. foye passes the ball. score. question: why not try to make foye uncomfortable? why let him sit there and wait patiently for guys to get open? that kind of bothered me and it reminded me a lot of how the bulls approach boston.
