I think what he was saying is not that they weren't winning
but the way they are playing is a little different with Flip. He’s passing more and getting to the hoop rather than holding it like Salmons does. It seems to open things up a bit more imo.

JJ was great out there in limited minutes.
And Derrick is very calm and in control. I also like how we’re working Noah back in slowly.
They’re just playing very well as a team right now. We do need our defensive anchor back…and that would make a huge difference on defense…but you’ve got to like what you see out there.

i'm confused about league pass
the barker says bulls on 6, which it is and i’m watching it… but the actual cable guide just has half hour intervals of “NBA LEAGUE PASS” with no game listed. and then the atlanta @ utah game starting on this channel at 9. but the atlanta game isn’t listed at all on the LP barker.

He doesn't go under on every PG. There's a difference in how he defends certain players.
I think it’s by design. They know he’s a bad defender, so I think the coaches are trying to minimize his impact.

PnR defense is pretty difficult. Derrick hasn't been quite as bad this year as last, but he's still not good at all.
Lots of stars didn’t start to focus on defense until at least their third year. Kevin Durant is a pretty good example.
