I'm sorry, but this just proves we SUCK.

Making a five game winning streak on the road completely irrelevant in a single game. Welcome to your 2009-2010 Chicago Bulls.

We’re getting destroyed by a BAD team (they’ve lost 4 in a row btw) on our home floor. Just when I was ready to root for this team, they pull me back out.

what it proves

is that we’re .500. and will continue to be unless we get wade or james. period.

I'm surprised the Clippers dont rank better defensively

Davis, Gordon, Camby, Kaman are four solid defensive players. Thornton, Telfair, Craig Smith must be completely weighing them down.

by YaoPau on Feb 2, 2010 9:33 PM CST reply actions

they lost the last 4 games.

They just played the Cavs. They were getting beat down pretty bad so I just think we were due for a loss.

This is such a Luol Deng game.

Then some on this thread will defend him a week from now by bringing up his stats. You really gotta watch the games when it comes to commenting on Deng.

To go with really bad shooting

TS% were awful for most of the team – Kirk 44.6, Derrick 38.3, Fish 25.0, and Brad 20.2.

by wjb1492 on Feb 2, 2010 9:56 PM CST up reply actions

They had 3 days off.

Typical young team. Lack of focus. Thats on the coach too. Derrick just said they didn’t work as hard. They still don’t know how to play when Rose gets trapped. Another reason Vinny sucks.

by SoulEater7 on Feb 2, 2010 9:47 PM CST reply actions

Don't ask.

Just look at the score, note we lost, and think at least it wasn’t a blow out.

Don’t even look at the boxscores.

And be grateful you missed this one.

by wjb1492 on Feb 2, 2010 10:04 PM CST up reply actions

That's what I'm saying -

If you look at the boxscore that’s pretty obvious, so he should just stick his head in the sand and pretend it’s just a normally disappointing loss. There’s nothing to be gained in seeking out the details of tonight’s misery.

Only 82 fucking points?

Glad I was sick and fell asleep from cough syrup.

We miss you, Ben Gordon!

long time reader, first time poster.

Ill be at the game tomorrow in philly, hopefully they show the hell up.

I find it rather annoying that Vinny didn't have this team prepared to play.

They still haven’t made adjustments to how teams are playing Rose. Thats sad. Those wins mean nothing to me if you haven’t learned anything. Those teams are not that good. Thats the truth. This whole road trip bullshit got way over blown and I knew this would happen.

by SoulEater7 on Feb 2, 2010 10:18 PM CST reply actions

This game has driven me to drink after staying dry during the final 5 games of the western road trip.

Tonight’s suckathon has got me falling off the wagon once again…..the bandwagon, that is.

I hope the Bulls collapse in all phases of the game was due to their celebrating too much after reading all the accolades showered on them from the local media and hungry fans, and is only a temporary setback, but than again in the back of my mind I realize our leader is still Vinny.

- Rose and Kurt were 10 for 29, while Fish contributed 2 whole points in 25 minutes off the bench. Just think, Pargo played 2 minutes and outscored our 6th man 3-2. Maybe it’s time for downtown Devin Brown to replace him in the aquarium.

- Miller went from player of the week to weak player of the game, hitting one of 7 to tie Pargo’s production but it took him 24 minutes to match our fiesty little Moscow mite’s output.

- Deng looked like the African version of Dirk Nowitzki out of the gate hitting his first 6 shots including 2 3’s, but than reverted to familiar form by missing his last 8, thus dampening my fantasy of his finally reaching all-pro status.

- Tyrus once again demonstrated how not to finish at the rim, but at least he in Vinny’s words was thrusting and attacking it and actually converted 7 of 8 charity attempts. He was solid defensively although I’m sure VDN didn’t notice.

- Taj was Taj, steady, heady and mostly mediocre but I blame Vinny for expecting him to guard the 7 foot 270 pound balding bratwurst from Germany who always seems to make the Bulls bigs look woefully overmatched.

It’s only one game, but the roller coaster is racing downhill again and Vinny has gone from basketball savant to “No he can’t”. (must be said with English accent). If the Bulls do bounce back, I swear I will get off the sauce again and rejoin Blogabulls Anonymous to try and climb back up to my former, short lived happy place with my fellow junkies, many whom I suspect, like myself, headed directly to the nearest watering place to drown their sorrows after watching their Men in Red’s quick descent against the wounded Clippers.

If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.
