"I'm not going to play," Hughes said. "I know that."
...Hughes was the only available player that didn't take the court in the team's pair of weekend games.
"(My frustration) is as high as it's going to get," he said. "I can't get any more frustrated than I already am."
Our old friend Larry.... Guess this means the Bulls aren't #1 on his %#&@ list anymore?

I hate Larry.
Knicks guard Larry Hughes has grown a beard and doesn’t plan to shave it until he’s traded, released or becomes a part of the team’s rotation again.
God, I hate this guy so much.
I don't really get the point of that
Do the Knicks have a no facial hair policy like the Yanks?
The mania is still runnin' wild and the madness still flows through the veins.

I doubt it
It’s Larry’s way of getting attention in his own little way. Let’s not try to understand…
He's not Larry Hughes anymore ...
HE’S BIZARRO LARRY HUGHES!
“Larry, do you know what a ‘pass is?’
‘Yes.’
SCIENCE!
Go Rockets/Nets[CDR]/Bucks[Jennings]!
I'm just thankful
he’s not on the Bulls.
OK I don't know shit about basketball.

aww man classic
nothing better than Curry’s “1 sec thought” of where to punch
True Story: John Salmons sucks so bad, Tiger Woods wants to meet him
On one hand he's just a complete idiot
but on the other you almost have to appreciate the level of how thick this guy’s skull is. He really doesn’t get it. At all. To him, the Bulls and Knicks were/are just obstacles keeping him from the All-Star game. He has no idea he sucks, and on some level you have to almost marvel at it.

Isn't it also a real possibility that he can be out of the league altogether now?
Who’s gonna pick this guy up when he brings this kind of baggage? If he doesn’t get the minutes he thinks he deserves, he’s gonna be a complete cancer. If Iverson had that much trouble getting work, I don’t see this piece of crap getting any

Yea, but they don't care that they're just glorified cheerleaders
If Larry was playing the minutes Pargo has played this season, for the entire year, he probably would have burned down Madison Square Garden by now.

I will sit on the bench of any NBA team for every game for the league minimum.
We miss you, Ben Gordon!

Its not even if too he won’t get the minutes because of how good he believes he is. Look at the shots he takes he has horrible recognition he takes some shots that disrupt chemistry/flow of a team or even a run. Not to mention his defense is still deteriorating. I think its impossible to please this guy at this point. If only he thought the game better….a lot better.
True
Also, I’m sure he’ll want more money than anyone else thinks he deserves.
The only thing that saves him is that he’s willing to go to the worst team in the league, as long as he gets minutes and shots. But, does New Jersey want him?
Vinny: "[Thrust] means pace, it means getting the ball out, it means getting your back to the sidelines, it means extending your outlets, it means getting the ball up the court into our early offense with plenty of time."
I don't see it
At least you can justify signing Iverson in a place like Memphis or Philly because ticket sales are extremely slow and perhaps some people would come just to see him play. Is anyone coming to the game to see Larry Hughes except for friends and family members? In fact he would probably further alienate a fanbase. I’m with staychisel, 5% chance he’s around next year, probably less.

D'Antoni
is a smarter coach than I thought.
He also benched
Nate Robinson for a month, and Nate doesn’t suck at basketball like Larry. Who knows why D’Antoni makes his playing time decisions. From what I recall, Hughes was starting at the beginning of the year.

Interesting question....
Out of Dan Tony, Little Nate, and Larry “sucks the life out of a team” Hughes, who has the biggest ego?
