Two different sources for this one.
First source is a RealGM poster from the Bulls board named JOHN who said the following:
There is a manager I am very close to here in Greece and one of the top teams(OSFP) are targetting JJ Redick for next year. They are monitoring the situation and thinking of sending feelers with a mulimillion offer(our boy Arn Tellem will be thrilled).Of course my guy learned a few days ago that Reddick could be Chicago bound along with Anthony Johnson for JohnSalmons
(Olympiacos really really likes him). The team believes it will be easier to get Redcock if he goes to Chicago(Bulls having other priorities as far as players).
Looks like the Bulls are indeed shopping John Salmons.
Second source is Alex Kennedy, who is a writer for Hoopsworld (insert Poopsworld joke here). The guy looks like he is about 12 years old and he writes for Hoopsworld, so take what he says for what it's worth. Anyway, he posted the following in a Hoopsworld chat:
As I said before, if they do make a deal it would likely involve one of their role players. Teams are calling about J.J. Redick but he has been playing so well lately. He has really made Vince Carter's struggles easier for the Magic because he can come in a contribute off of the bench. His play has attract suitors but Orlando may not want to move him since he's done so well as an insurance policy to Carter. I've heard that Chicago is interested in Redick and could offer John Salmons and his expiring contract for Redick and a filler (probably Bass or Johnson). If Orlando makes a move, it's going to be something smaller like this that doesn't change the face of the team but could still make an impact.
Anyone have thoughts on a Redick + Johnson swap for Salmons? I'd love it. JJ is more of a 2 guard than anyone currently on our team and would be perfect running off screens and spacing the floor for Rose. He also expires, as does Johnson.
