so far

i like the trades the bulls made, how many dumbs shots has the new acquisitions made so fare from what i can see is none. Dont get me wrong i liked t..t but he has no bball iq what soever. Hopefully we can keep this lead and come out 3-0 after the break

i think larry brown disagrees

tt played 25 minutes tonight… larry brown took nazr minutes and gave them to tyurs.. if he was so bad would a hall of famer do this…. FUCK vinny and the org for this one

thomas cant even outplay a rookie

come on t.t been in the league for 3 years now and he lost his job to a rookie, just wait his minutes will diminish in cha. also congrats to kirk for passing ben gordon for most 3 pts made.

Um Tyrus usually out produced Taj. VDN just trusted Taj more. Anyway I don’t wanna have this dumbass argument anymore.. It’ like the BG thing all over again. Fuck it. Go Bulls!

Yes

I mean he’s earned it but gotta keep it in perspective. He broke a guy’s record who’s got less time in the league and in that uniform than him

It was specifically in 88 more games

Ben averaged 1.93 made 3s per game for the Bulls, Kirk 1.58.

Sure. Thomas can’t even outplay a rookie? That had nothing to do with his demotion.

Go Rockets/Nets[CDR]/Bucks[Jennings]!

by Prevenge on Feb 19, 2010 11:33 PM CST up reply actions

Here we go with no BBIQ thing. Yeh cause Warrick and Murray are the rocket scientists of basketball. Tyrus>Warrick easily. But he’s not a Bull so I’m not gonna go that route

I just wanna say I’m lovin the fact Air Force One has 8 rebounds tonight. We need more of that.

The only major inconsistent thing about Tyrus was his minutes.

Naw his play was inconsistent.

He’d play really well then do really dumb shit and think he was a fuckn all-star. Case in point: Game 1 vs Boston, 4th quarter, he took the ball instead of giving it to a guard, got fouled, then missed the FTs.

My head is also spinning...

from all your spinning.

Typically, you cherry-pick stats in an effort to make TT look better, forgetting in this case to mention the 3 for 9 shooting and two turnovers. Also, it is obvious that the previous night’s epic Cleveland Denver game sapped both teams, as they both lost to inferior opponents yesterday.

I do agree than Brown is a far superior coach to VDN, and he probably will develop TT further. But the trade was obviously the right move for the bulls, and TT has a long. long way to go before fulfilling the promise that you continue – tediously – to salivate over.

by badnewsintennisshoes on Feb 20, 2010 8:15 AM CST up reply actions

"Typically, you cherry-pick stats in an effort to make TT look better"

He is sounding like ESPN guys. Hypes that he played well but doesn’t mention the mistakes that much and that Cleveland was in a back to game game in overtime against the Nuggets. TT is good but I don’t think that he would ever a superstar, just a good player, but 6 blocks is nasty.

by C Smoove on Feb 20, 2010 9:59 AM CST up reply actions

Not the point, of course...

it’s about the absurd overreaction to a single game. “The Bobcats crushed the Cavs last night…”, etc.

Sheesh.

by badnewsintennisshoes on Feb 20, 2010 10:05 AM CST up reply actions

The games we and the bobcats played last night was a perfect time to use our new toys. We went up against the Wolves and they went up against a tired Cavs team (who already can’t beat the bobcats anyway for some strange reason)

So far it appears the "ORG" made the right decision - - regarding Gordon

After extensive BaB posts regarding how stupid the Bulls org was not resigning Ben Gordon I want to report some more outcome data from last night’s game

B. Gordon 19:55 min, 1-6, 0-2 3-PT, 2-2 FT, – 12 +/-, 1 Reb, 0 assists, 1 TO, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 4 points

also from the SBNation Detroit Bad Boys Blog

The Bad:
Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva managed six points on 2-10 shooting in 38 minutes. Way to earn the contracts, guys.
It is hard to imagine the Bulls not being better after this summer as a result of not mortgaging our future with Gordon’s contract.

by chgobr on Feb 20, 2010 8:13 AM CST reply actions

by badnewsintennisshoes on Feb 20, 2010 9:42 AM CST up reply actions

Your argument is Bullsh*t

That makes about as much sense as flipping a coin, it comes up heads
Then deducing an idiot theory such as" therefore folks every flip will come up heads".
The Bulls morgaged their future when they overpaid for Hinrich, Deng and Wallace.
And I don’t based that on one game performance but over two or more years play.
Gordon earned his money and carry those Bums for years.
Now the Bulls management lucked out again and Rose is carrying those overpaid Bums Hinrich and Deng.

You mean, like how the Bulls are holding onto Hinrich's contract?

Gordon’s minutes: 19:55
Charlie V: 18:14

Exactly what are they expecting when their two FA signings don’t even see the floor? It’s Detroit’s fault they paid two guys and treat them like bench players.

Taj Gibson is the face of Bulls basketball!
