Around SBN: How The Kings Beat The Coyotes: Lather, Rinse, Repeat

A lot of Bulls chatter from our good friends over at Poopsworld. I was shocked to see this come over & the response

jason in tx:
"Josh Howard for Tyrus Thomas and John Salmons"

Steve Kyler:
"A steal for Dallas... not so good for Chicago... "

I personally love this trade because you are getting a good player with an expiring contract who could benefit from a change of scenery, but most importantly you are getting rid of Salmons contract. Plus, Howard could be resigned depending on what happens with the class of 2010.

Also, floated the idea on Mavs Moneyball to see the otherside to this:

Nevermind

If sham is accurate then Howard’s contract inext year is a team option and not a player option.

Bring on the weed.

Yup

Howard (if you believe the rumors and Cuban’s innuendos) is on a downward spiral, but hopefully will be inspired to play ball in a contract year and change of scenery.
And if Salmons goes in the deal he should get plenty of minutes (since Devin Brown hasn’t shown any flashes yet).

I’m all for it. Way better than Salmons/Ty for Orlando’s crap expirings. Plus, it beats helping out Orlando’s chances of winning the East.

All your base are belong to Vinny.

It will be interesting to see what the other side would say to this deal. Then someone email Cuban.

Josh Howard would be interesting. He seems like he's got some major issues going on though

Really and truly, his fall in production makes Kirk’s look pretty mild. His PER over the last few years 20, 18.3, 17, 12.2

He’s only 29 and ought to be in his prime. He acts like a dumbass off the court. I haven’t followed it close, I’m going to guess he’s got some serious drug issues.

He wouldn't come here?

He might. I doubt the Magic let him though.

You missed this one...
Justin in DENVER:
How much truth is there for a Tyrus Thomas trade to Denver…. I’ve been hearing for Balkman, Graham, & Malik Allen. If that’s true, what’s taking so long?
Steve Kyler:
Its on the table… whats taking so long is that the Bulls want to make sure that is their best offer… you don’t want to trade Tyrus for “garbage” then here you could have gotten a first round draft pick for him… whats eight more days to insure you got the best deal possible?

Ugh…if that trade is on the table, I am happy GarPax is holding out for better offers…Tyrus may not have much value, but that package is hot garbage…it would be better if the Bulls could get a 2011 first rounder…

Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and (there is no LLE thanks to the Pargo signing) will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.

That's a horrible deal

I don’t even think Vinny hates Tyrus that much. I hope this isn’t true because if Malik Allen is involved, they might actually say YES!

Joakim on whether he ever tried tennis: "I played a little bit. If anybody on the Bulls wanted to play me, I would kick their ass."

Malik and Taj on the same team is a guaranteed Finals appearance. So much hustle! So much humility! True team players that don’t need all the unnecessary talent bs.

I've completely disregarded this site after last year

when one of their guys guaranteed that Amare was going to be a Bull. He sounded like it was already done and we all know how that one turned out.

Poopsworld will release an article saying “told ya so”.
