Ah yes, the New Jersey "Neyts", the only team that is more interesting off the court than on the court. Sorry I'm writing this preview so early, but I won't have time to write it tomorrow or Friday.

I have to agree with Bill Simmons, Mikhail Prokhorov is the most interesting owner in the NBA. However, at a record of 9-22, they are very far away from Prokhorov's goal of making the playoffs this year. Let's be honest, this team is abysmal right now. Brook Lopez is their lone cornerstone and Devin Harris is a great second banana but that's about it. I do like Anthony Morrow as a glue guy, he would have look great in a Bulls uniform this year. 

This should be an easy win for Chicago. Given how well Kurt Thomas defended Andrew Bogut, he should be able to effectively guard Brook Lopez. Devin Harris does have the ability to draw fouls in bunches so that maybe a problem. But besides that, there isn't too much to be concerned about. Nets' starting SF, Quinton Ross, is actually playing worse than Keith Bogans this year (and you thought their wasn't a worse starter in the NBA).

But onto more important things, The Nets clearly have three 1st teamers on the "All WAG Team".  For those of you who never got laid in high school, "WAG" is an acronym for "Wives and Girlfriends" and with the recent addition of Sasha Vujacic, the Nets have their own version of the "Big Three". Minority owner Jay-Z is currently married to super-hot singer/songwriter Beyonce Knowles, Vujucic is currently engaged to tennis player Maria Sharapova and token white American Kris Humphries is currently dating out of his league with socialite Kim Kardashian. 

It would be interesting if the Nets actually do end up with Carmelo because that would mean Melo's girlfriend, MTV's LaLa Vazquez, would give them another 1st team WAG on their roster. After that, they could sign douchebag Marko Jaric for the rest of the year just so they have the best starting five in the NBA (Jaric is currently married to Victoria Secret Model Adriana Lima). 

The Nets maybe a horrible basketball team but they definitely have great taste in women.
