C's Magic is a good one so far.
Garnett is sooo good. I hate him but love his game.
"What do you think, I just dunked my whole career?" Jordan asked Henderson after making a 3.
"You’ve got to miss eventually," Henderson told him.
"That’s what Cleveland said," replied Jordan
I think this Nelson/Arenas/Richardson/Bass/Howard lineup is the one the Magic should use the most
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
I kinda like Turkey Glue in there
but that line up is pretty sick. I want to see more Nelson and Arenas pair ups.

Chris Mannisx of SI just tweeted this:
Team execs say two teams are most active right now: Orlando (looking for size) and Chicago (scoring guard).
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
He's always watching you too.

Orlando has 36 points at half. They are really struggling.
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
They pissed off a good Boston defense with those early celebrations.
"What do you think, I just dunked my whole career?" Jordan asked Henderson after making a 3.
"You’ve got to miss eventually," Henderson told him.
"That’s what Cleveland said," replied Jordan
So I guess we should all be cheering for the Magic to keep sucking so we can get the 3 seed
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
I'd rather not deal with the Knicks in the first round, so yeah.
"What do you think, I just dunked my whole career?" Jordan asked Henderson after making a 3.

That'd be an awesome series
that we win in 6

I'd lose the battle though
with my heart.

I think the Hawks finish with a better record than the Knicks
Unless Knicks trade for Carmelo. Knicks are really up-and-down.
I would actually rather see us play the Knicks than Hawks in the first-round. The quality of the two teams is pretty close, and the Knicks would be a way more fun match-up.
Sound logic.
I would like to face the knicks, but I’d be soooo stressed out…

Heh, it's going to be weird actually cheering for the Lakers. I don't even like them.
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
Don't tell anyone
but I don’t hate any team in the NBA except the Heat. I even kinda like Boston. The only time I hate every team is when they play the Bulls

I'm actually totally with you on that one
Though I’m hating the Knicks more and more every time I have to see Gallinari’s smug face.
So, the C's have figured out Dwight Howard it seems.
"What do you think, I just dunked my whole career?" Jordan asked Henderson after making a 3.
"You’ve got to miss eventually," Henderson told him.
"That’s what Cleveland said," replied Jordan
Dwight Howard has 1 point and 4 fouls with 9 minutes left in the 3rd. Wow.
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
trade 2 years from now...
Howard, Turk and Arenas for Deng, Noah, 3 #1s and salary filler.

I like that fantasy.

whoever thought LBJ and Wade would be on the same team?
dream big.

Oh I know
It’s still a nice fantasy, which is why I like it.

Who would you guys start if you were SVG?
I think I’d seriously go with Nelson/Arenas/J-Rich/Bass/Howard. Turkoglu sucks.
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
It's official I hate the knicks more than the celtics
That was horseshit play by amare cryamire today. When Derrick rose is upset, you know you’re a douche
48 minutes of intensity
I'm pretty disappointed Booz or Kurt didn't lay Amare out today. He was being a total asshole out there
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
Right, once the going got tough for us we should've hammered stat
Chalk it up to christmas charm on our end.
48 minutes of intensity
That was very disappointing

Dwight is having a terrible game.
"What do you think, I just dunked my whole career?" Jordan asked Henderson after making a 3.

of course as soon as I say that he has two great plays back to back.
Reward his ass down low JJ

Jesus Christ, Paul Pierce is an unbelievable asshole.
Counting down the seconds on Dwight’s FT.
I really do want Magic to win.
Wow this game got good.

I never thought I would say this
But the lakers are being shafted today by the officials
48 minutes of intensity
Was he that bad?
I missed most of the ganme.
i thought his lack of play was the reason they got blown out
the Lakers HAVE TO dominate the interior to beat the Heat.
by Basketball Smurf on Dec 25, 2010 8:17 PM CST up reply actions
I think the lakers are being exposed
They are a weak defensive team on the perimeter(besides artest) and not very quick. I think Dallas or San Antonio is taking the west and either Boston or orlando is taking the east.
48 minutes of intensity
We suck.
"My first major in college was art. It was too hard with basketball. I went to architecture. That was too hard with basketball. So then I just majored in Math." – Ron Artest
"Just be patient with us. We’ll be fine [by the end of the season]." – Phil Jackson. We can only hope.
Birdman is running a strong #2 for dumbest tattoos in the NBA
Deshawn Stevenson is in the lead.
by Basketball Smurf on Dec 25, 2010 8:17 PM CST reply actions
No, Birdman's new neck tattoos are the worst I've ever seen
They somehow make K-Mart’s tattoos look normal, even the lips one
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
Durant's got 40 points with the entire 4th quarter still left to play
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
I'm in a sudden state of Bogans fueled depression once again
Every time I start thinking about Thibs being a jerkface and starting this guy, I get really down
Until Keith Bogans is taken out of the starting lineup, it's: Tommy Del Thibo
We need a clear #1 SG…
Not someone who starts because Bogans sucks. Apparently they don’t think Brewer or Korver are that guy.
News flash: Luol Deng is good...We now return you to your regularly scheduled hating...
You seem to be underestimating just how bad Bogans is
Also underrating Ronnie Brewer. It’s a very big upgrade, and one that needs to made. Like, now.

I agree with you.
I’m just trying to figure out what the Bulls are thinking. It seems clear to me that if GarPax had a big issue with Bogans starting over Brewer it would change at some point. Therefore I can only assume that GarPax are ok with Thibs starting Bogans. If this is the case then clearly they see Brewer as just a bench guy, and Bogans is a placeholder for the REAL starter they hope to aquire.
News flash: Luol Deng is good...We now return you to your regularly scheduled hating...
Well, one can only hope that is the case
At least that’s some sort of explanation. Although I have a hard time believing they would go that far
Until Keith Bogans is taken out of the starting lineup, it's: Tommy Del Thibo
by Juiceboxjerry on Dec 25, 2010 11:14 PM CST up reply actions
Clearly Thibs knows Brewer and Korver are better than Bogans.
His sub patterns indicate this. Even in those rare games when Bogans has shot well he plsys the first 6-9min of each half, and that’s it. He doesn’t get benched for bad play, or rewarded with more minutes when he plays better. Korver, Brewer, or CJ are always in there the rest of the time. Besides the explanation I gave the only other thing I can think of is that he’s trying to limit Brewers and Korvers minutes to keep them healthy/fresh/whatever. I think what I said is more logical.
I think it’s about continuity then. Instead of shuffling everybodys minutes around based on who’s hot at the time which is what would probably happen if Bogans is benched. It seems they have decided that it would be better to plug a new starter into Bogans+ Brewer’s or Korver’s minutes(they’d almost certainly have to give one of them up in a trade for a SG). This would make the transition to a new SG as seamless as is possible. I think they would feel more pressure to bench Bogans if they were 14-14 instead of 18-10. They’ve taken a strategical rather than a tactical approach to this, so I don’t expect it will change unless they go into a major slump, or they finally get the guy they want.
News flash: Luol Deng is good...We now return you to your regularly scheduled hating...
thats stupid
you dont keep him in there so you can plug in another guy when you finally get him
who knows how long itll be until we get a competent 2 guard.
you cant give away games in the meantime and keep bogans in there
until you get a competent starter you need to insert brewer or korver.
Derrick Rose is a motherfucking ninja.
As a fan I agree with you.
I hate to see them lose even a single game because they’re giving guarranteed minutes to an inferior player. Personally I would start Brewer. I’m not the coach or the GM though, and clearly they see things differently. If i’m right, we’re going to be stuck with Bogans starting and getting 14-18min or so per game until they get the guy they want. Maybe they have somebody in their sights and think they can get him soon. I certainly hope this is the case. When they do, i’d say that we won’t see very much of Bogans anymore.
From the perspective of coaches and management continuity certainly has some value. They seem to be looking at this strategically and saying, ‘Boozer missed a bunch of games, and Noah is missing a bunch of games, but we’re still 19-10, leading our division by several games, etc.‘. They don’t seem to think that whatever damage Bogans is doing by getting the minutes he is, is worth dicking around with Brewer’s and Korver’s minutes and roles.
News flash: Luol Deng is good...We now return you to your regularly scheduled hating...
What's the consensus around here, would Bulls fans include Taj in a deal to get OJ Mayo?
Because I would do it in a second. I could care less about Boozer and Noah being injury concerns. Just juice up that starting five and figure out the rest later. Mayo is young and can grow with the team. Plus I think he’ll get a huge boost from playing on a good team in a big city. I want this guy BADLY
Until Keith Bogans is taken out of the starting lineup, it's: Tommy Del Thibo
I wouldn't
because Thibs just needs to start effing Korver or Brewer

This is about the time that we could really use a media with some balls
KC is such an org-fellating asshat that it probably never even occurred to him that he should ask Thibs about this situation. If this was New York, there would be like three different papers ripping the shit out of him daily until he caved and made the switch. This thing is really hurting the team imo. Bogans gives us NOTHING. He has to be the worst starter in the league right now.

I would
Kurt Thomas has shown a pulse and I’d say the past few games have shown how little impact Taj has in a backup role.
Pat Riley is the devil.
I wouldn't,
not even if we could trade them straight up. Mayo is an inefficient volume scorer, and that’s about it. He’s a chucker. We don’t need him.
I think this might be hard to get done because
The biggest incentive for Memphis to make a trade like this is to save money. Mayo doesn’t make that much. Something like this might work:
They save some money this year, and get at least better insurance policy if they either lose Randolph in FA or decide to trade him. Plus as I understand it (I could be wrong), Bogans contract isn’t guarranteed next year, so they’d save more money there.
News flash: Luol Deng is good...We now return you to your regularly scheduled hating...
Why wasn’t my trademachine link included in my post?
I guess I did something wrong. Anyway, it was Taj, JJ, and Bogans for Mayo and Arthur.
