I love this Bulls team. Best team since the Jordan years. Saw that they are now ranked 4th at the ESPN power rankings (probably because of their ridiculous strength of schedule. We're like the anti- Boise State!). But as Boozer's return approaches, I keep asking the same question. Will he really make much of a difference?
But the real factor here is the emergence of Taj. The guy is playing amaaaaazing. Except for those two games, he's been shooting lights out, and he's been rebounding the ball just as well as Boozer would. Now it's true that with Boozer in the starting lineup, we'd have Taj on the bench, giving us a stronger bench. But Taj seems like someone who needs minutes and a feel for the game to really be effective. If he's playing 20 minutes a game, I suspect he's not going to be very productive.
We have such a great thing going here. I just don't know if Boozer's going to fit in and make it better. Thoughts?
