rose needs to stop avoiding contact
and stop the floaters
and stop the stupid pull ups in transition 1 on 5
otherwise good game
Save us Melo.
Fucking Hinrich
... And Thibs said, "Let there be 3's" and Deng made 3's
And Deng saw the 3's, that they were good
And didn't shoot long 2's anymore.

Lu with a 3
A lovely story:
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who didn't whine, nag or bitch. That would be me....
But that was a long time ago and it was just that one day.
The end
Deng threes are so awesome
Thank you Thibs for making him shoot them!
Deng/Boozer/Noah: All your rebound are belong to us.
OMG I know if only we could have an offense based on going 1-on-1. Those teams always win titles.

No the fuck they don't
the Triangle is 200% based on passing. The 1-on-1 team you’re thinking of is the Warriors.

half the time kobe goes 1 on 1 all he wants
and the celtics love making clear outs for pierce.
having a system gets you through the bad teams.
you need 1 on 1 guys for the top tier defenses
Save us Melo.
You need guys who can create their own shot but you also need guys who don't need to create their own shot
Well, isn't what LeBron did last night the living embodiment of The Secret, leaving millions on the table and turning himself into a hometown villain, all for the sake of winning?
Neil Paine, basketball-reference.com
That's true, this team needs at least 1 more shot creater but it's not Deng's fault that that player
isn’t on this team or that he doesn’t foot the bill in that regard. He’s still a damn good player worth having around
Well, isn't what LeBron did last night the living embodiment of The Secret, leaving millions on the table and turning himself into a hometown villain, all for the sake of winning?

it isnt his fault
but hes the only piece we can really hope to get something of value for at this point
Save us Melo.
The Bulls are unlikely to get equal value back on a Deng deal b/c of his injury history
I wouldn’t mind swapping him for Iggy to acquire that additional ball handler but doesn’t sound like Philly has any interest

Rose with such a shitty defensive fourth quarter.
It negates all of his work against Wall.

It's better by a ton
When the Bulls are jockeying for a playoff spot, they aren’t going to lose ground because they only beat the Wiz by 7.
That's why it's better
But the Wiz didn’t play well, and were still in it at the end. It was a bad win.
meh i think its mainly because
arenas, hinrich and even that dumbass young went off from the peremter when rose and noah were both sitting out….im surprised how well washington did in contiaining the awesomeness that is noah off the glass (but he had his way with them in scoring)
Wiz need to run something for kirk when he starts hitting his shot, it wont last long so they should do whatever in their power to keep him going, i thought kirk was the biggest reason they were still in the game, both offensively and defensively…but i guess i thought that cuz im me, and u know me….

Honestly, people need to stop complaining so much about Bogans. He is on the floor with other people who take lots of shots. Leave our best-shooting SG on the bench to take shots when Rose/Deng/Noah or some combination of them are sitting.

when you think, Brew,Korver,Bogans,Asik, are worse than Kirt,Flip,Pargo, and the Corpse of Brad Miller
..and Sacremento.
3 wins is probably best case scenario.

Taj played fantastic D tonight.

And Deng saw the 3's, that they were good
And didn't shoot long 2's anymore.

Is this another Arenas question?
Next person who pines for the days of Vinny will be forced to watch clips of every timeout from last season, and also that one of Jarret Jack tying his shoelace.
Deng with a nice night
20 Pts on 6-14 FG, 3-6 3s
9 Reb, 6 Ast,
Well, isn't what LeBron did last night the living embodiment of The Secret, leaving millions on the table and turning himself into a hometown villain, all for the sake of winning?

When Boozer returns,
everyone will see their numbers go down a bit. Less shots for everyone, less boards for Noah, less minutes for Taj.
Well, maybe Derrick’s assist numbers will go up more.

Big 3 all had solid games, Taj again with an impressive night.
If only we had a way to upgrade the SG spot.

by Ozzie Montana on Nov 13, 2010 9:40 PM CST up reply actions
I'm starting to think that is not that necessary
When Boozer comes back, a back up PG will be more vital. Most teams have at least 1 weakness and the play of the other pieces neutralize that weakness. Rotating defensive 2s like Bogans and Brewer and bringing in Korver for variety gives different looks throughout the game.
I like that the only thing Brewer can’t do is shoot. His defense has been stellar these past few games and he is active on the offensive end. Having an upgrade at the 2 would be great, but when Boozer comes back I don’t think it will be vital.

Agreed, 100%.
No reason to get a shooting guard who will take the ball out of the hands of Derrick, Noah, Deng, or Boozer. Those four can do enough damage.
Lockdown defense from the 2-spot would do a lot more to hurt a lot of opposing teams—Celtics, Hawks…
Next person who pines for the days of Vinny will be forced to watch clips of every timeout from last season, and also that one of Jarret Jack tying his shoelace.
Kobe. LA is winning 60+ at this rate and the media will fall over themselves to celebrate him while LeBron flatlines.

they could feel that CP3 is due for one. If the Hornets win 55+, I’d say it’s him.

which is very likely now that phx is dead and denver will likely drop after melo is traded

But Kobe had a great year and they felt he should win one before he gets too old.

I honestly see him having a shot at MVP.
Yeah but it worked!

They don't have a 20 ppg scorer,
Paul is their leader w/18ppg. They must be playing amazing team ball and sick defense.
If Dwight keeps is scoring average in the low 20s, I could see him getting a push as well

They've finished strong the last 2 seasons though under the radar
If they get into a race for the division crown against the Heat, could draw the spotlight Howard’s way

Heat will win 10 in a row at some point
and it’ll be stronger than ever. This isn’t the end, it’s the beginning.
Hey - playing this schedule, no Boozer, new coach and system,
and we’re 3rd in the east before the road trip, with Derrick Rose an MVP candidate, Noah looking like an all-star, and Deng picking it up. Save for one New York Knicks’ ridiculous, never again shooting display…we’re 6-2.
I’m impressed.

not really considering those teams are shooting 33 and 34 percent in that game, thats a lot of missed shots

So about Wall
Great in transition, active hands on defense, a better shot from the perimeter than I thought… but that’s it. His halfcourt game is completely non-existent. I did not think it was that bad. And he needs to learn a bit more control in transition. He inexplicably clanged two easy lay-ins because he was going to fast.
Fortunately he had Flip and others to help him round out his game. Definitely loaded with potential.
by Dr. Handsome, D.D.S. on Nov 13, 2010 10:00 PM CST reply actions
He got lucky on those threes.
I thought this guy was just a world-beater. He’s more limited than I thought – especially in the half-court.
The poster formerly known as Freethefro.
yep. hes a weird player now. in some ways hes better than i thought, but in others he worse.
like, hes a better scorer than i though by a lot, but hes significantly worse on defense than i thought. and his scoring is all about transition, while in the half court hes surprisingly inept. and what fundamental said about him having tremendous vertical dribbling speed/quickness while being weak at moving laterally with the ball seems to be right. that being said, hes really good and hes going to be awesome for sure.

Good Game
Was there tonight and enjoyed it. Team did what it needed to do against an inferior opponent. Sad some of you are ripping on Kirk. Yeah he didn’t live up to his contract but he was one of the guys that helped bring this team back from the disaster it was. Guy played hard every night and didn’t complain. He’s a good dude and I’m happy they gave him a montage and announced him last. Then again, I also cheer BG when he comes back to town. They are guys that brough basketball back to the city.
The defense was outstanding. Taj looked great in the paint and it seems like they are starting to get the benefit of the doubt on calls. My one gripe is not enough Ronnie Brewer. The team played real well with him on the court and he causes havoc in the backcourt. Even off the ball he’s always sticking his hand in somewhere or jumping in passing lanes. Won’t show up on the stat sheet but he had a couple plays where he got in a position and caused them to make a bad pass. I understand Bogans is in there because he can shoot, but I think I’d like to see more Brewer and less Bogans unless we’re playing a team that is forcing us to shoot outside.
I’d also like to see Kyle play more with Derrick. He creates a lot of open looks beyond the arc that Bogans and Deng have feasted on. So I think it would only make sense to have one of the best long distance shooters in the league getting those attempts. His defense is bad but I think he can give a nice spark offensively when playing with Derrick. He is just not that effective when he plays with the 2nd unit.
And Deng sure played a lot for a game the Bulls had more or less in their control from the 2nd quarter on. Seems like Thibs forgets to sub out guys at times. Just seems with a guy as injury prone as Deng you’d like to see them limit his minutes a bit for the long stretch of the season.
did Thibs and Rose scream at each other tonight during the game angrily?
sin: MELO! ALmighty1080: headbands lolz
They had a shouting disagreement
when Rose was late to challenge a 3 on 2 consecutive possesions.
I’m Guessing Rose was saying “I got my hand up”
But Thibs would rather not allow the shot in the first place
i wonder what the hell is wrong with durant? the spurs just creamed OKC in OKC because
durant was bad again and westbrook had a bad game (1 of only 2 this year by my count).
