It seemed like

A lot of the offense there towards the end had a lot of Korver involvment. Kirk was on him pretty tight and led to a couple of turnovers. I like that hes tryin to get Kyle some shots but its doesn’t seem to be working well.

And Taj and Ronnie need to play more.

I'm cuckoo for Kukoc!!!

by Yibs on Nov 13, 2010 8:13 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Christ almighty Wall has better hands than Rondo. And he just might be quicker than Rose with the ball.

Korver is pretty bad when he isn’t making quick decisions with the ball. JaVale McGee sucks for a guy who can dunk without even having his hand on the ball.

TS% = Thabo Sefolosha percentage. It calculates how much you can be like Thabo Sefolosha. That’s why Keith Bogans is at 70%.

by Ozzie Montana on Nov 13, 2010 8:15 PM CST reply actions   1 recs

I dunno, they have different styles with the ball so it's hard to tell.

Rose attacks in straight lines, he doesn’t bother getting cute with different angles because he’s so strong and fast. Wall shifts his position much more and actually maintains control while doing so.

In a straight race I think Wall could win but I’d rather have Rose attacking the basket.

TS% = Thabo Sefolosha percentage. It calculates how much you can be like Thabo Sefolosha. That’s why Keith Bogans is at 70%.

by Ozzie Montana on Nov 13, 2010 8:19 PM CST up reply actions

You might be right about Wall

These steals are no fluke, he will get tons of steals in his career. He is quick as hell with the ball also, if he’s not quicker than Rose in transition, it’s a dead heat.

Wall does not have the same kind of quickness in the halfcourt game though, or he isn’t able to harness it properly yet.

by runningman on Nov 13, 2010 8:23 PM CST up reply actions

Better hands than Rondo? No way

Rondo’s the only PG who can limit Rose at this point. I think he’s got the best, still

by Stacey_Is_King on Nov 13, 2010 8:19 PM CST up reply actions

Right. Rose is one of the true

unguardable players in this league. That’s why he’s different at the PG position

I think Boston did a good job overall

But I never thought that Rondo was directly taking him out of his game. I think you’re giving Rondo too much individual credit.

by runningman on Nov 13, 2010 8:26 PM CST up reply actions

Rondo's never done more than pick his pocket a few times, any guard can do that.

Wall just has that “feel” for the ball. Anytime one of our players is dribbling half hazardly I cringe.
