Si.com: Why the 2010 Heat are unlike the 72 Win 95-96 Bulls.
A really solid article about the unique circumstances of what made the 72 win Bulls so unique. Chemistry, leadership, and expectations are what makes Phil Taylor doubt the 2010 Heat can beat the 72 win record. As a lifelong Bulls fan, I agree.

Awesome article
Had no idea Rodman was so dedicated and intelligent, now it makes sense how he averaged so many rebounds
Seriously?
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.
LOL
I did. No I just felt like regui8er didn’t think Rodman was that smart or good. I know very well how smart and good Rodman was, and I believe regui8er is giving him some props!
Lol, hopefully I didn’t suggest that I thought he wasn’t good, far from it. I really didn’t get how he averaged so many boards, and watching him play I always wondered how he was in perfect position.
I put his intelligence and dedication hand in hand. Though not saying that they are causative. His was very intelligent in attaining the objective, which is a reflection of how dedicated he was. That I did not know.
Your comment made it seem like you were saying refuting my claim of his dedication and intelligence. Thankfully that’s not the case!
yea man
i thought that rodman part was the best part of the article…i never knew he studied the exact physics of a players shots that intensely….its pretty awesome…new found respect…
I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!
Rodman was DA MAN.
I really do hope he gets into the HALL very soon!
a lot was written on that back in the day

which is probably the exact reason i dont remember it
i remember the games, but i didnt care to read articles or follow the rules at the time….to me regular season was non existant…and i thought playoffs was just another word for finals…i didnt know how or why teams faced each other, and the name Michael Jordan was synonymous to Superman for me….it was just one big tv series for me, and Jordan and his bulls were the good guys….utah was evil..

Utah
was just an opponent.
NY and Detroit were evil, especially NY.

Yeah,
I actually used to feel bad for Utah… they were like the ugly kid on the block that people used to bring around just to make fun of. I hated, but respected Detroit and New York, but I never respected Utah.
… except Sloan, he’s the man, and a true coaching legend.
Ask me about Tom Thibodeau!!!

i actually was kinda rooting for them to win after mj retired… thought malone and stockton deserved it. but then they blew it.
they wont do it because they arent that good
