JR Smith could use some depth perception, and yes this is way worse than Luol Deng's ShoeGate.

This actually isn't as bad as it looks.

At least he was boxing out (albiet, very weakly) and not focused on the ball. The culprit in this is Kenyon who sees everything develop and doesn’t tell his teammate, hey, pass me the ball before you step out of bounds.

How is this worse than Luol.

This is just a slight brain fart. Luol was just being a puss.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

seriously?

In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).

Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.

I think Luol's was worse.

Smith looked up late and saw the net swoosh, figured it went in. Luol just stood there while Jack tied his shoes for ~6 seconds. Smith’s wasn’t a judgment thing, he just didn’t see the shot correctly. Luol’s play is a WTF are you doing??

You didn't really see the clip, did you?

He tried to switch defensive assignments. I don’t know how anyone thinks he could have actually done something. Jack would have seen him, stood up and dribbled or passed the ball. he was like 10 ft away.

Of course I saw the clip.

Luol looked confused. All I know is that if I’m playing in a game that means something(not just pick up with friends), and I’m the closest guy to someone tying his shoe, I’ll be all over him in a heartbeat.

I don't think this is way worse than Deng's....

Because Deng is our current high man (contract length) and face of the franchise….where JR Smith is making about 40% of what Deng makes this year and isn’t the marketed star…

It’s bad, but this is more a simple confusion/dumb mistake.

That shoelace thing was ridiculous cuz it went on and on and on by the org’s guy/player.

I know Brad makes more and Rose is becoming that guy, but that shoelace thing was stupid.

Sadly....through thick and thin....

but denvers entire team seems to believe the shot went in.

the closest ive come to seeing that

is when you have 4 guys instead of 5 (4 v 4) and instead of running a full you run a half, theres always one guy who thinks its a full court game and the moment he gets the ball he takes off to the other side….but thats still nowhere near what marion did….

i mean its hard to imagine a 7 year old doing that, i dont know how you could mistake ureside of the rim…

I did this growin up in my middle school b-ball league. I wasn’t paying attention, got a pass and broke into the open court and shot on the wrong rim, worse yet…I missed the fkn layup!

Not worse than Luol

Luol was basically punked. JR just made a mistake.
