"Indeed, Johnson has been touted as being able to play both small and power forward, though Del Negro mostly has limited him to the former. In talking to Johnson, it sounds as if he'd be happy playing designated rebounder at practice."

Taj Gibson called Tyrus-"Tyrus Thompson". Listen closely.
"Rest satisified with doing well and leave others to talk of you as they please"
LOL
Yeah I heard that.

Weird
Does that mean Luol’s the main backup PF? Is there any way Salmons gets 35mpg and Kirk gets 25? Or is James Johnson not at all in Vinny’s rotation?
maybe we'll be seeing a lot of Noah-Miller frontcourts.

Out of the rotation. The dropoff from any of the top 7 to a rookie like James Johnson is going to
be too largeto play him competitive games. Thomas, Noah, and Miller take up all the minutes at the 4 and the 5 with just a little room for small ball with Deng at the 4.
But, I’m happy to see that Johnson is being played primarily at SF. If he’s going to be a real NBA player then it has to be at SF.
we cant seriously be going with a 7 man rotation all year
we at least have to try to get 5-10 mins a night out of pargo and/or johnson
