Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Okay this is the first videos im gonna post, it shows the bulls vs the nets in Nba 2k10. Its not hte best video showing the actual gameplay, but because its the only one i found of the bulls thus far i thought id post it...

I put the second quarter first, and the 1st quarter next for a reason. The biggest Being KIRK HINRICH!!! Okay thats not the biggest, THe biggest was because i felt the second quarter had more ingame happennings so that people could actually see what the game was like.

I also put up a non bulls video that shows how the game would look in the association mode (the bulls game is a quick game hence the stupid ai and easy baskets).
I want to note how awesome the game looks, and definetly sounds! The commentary is just spectacular! especially if you listen to the association commentary.

I also put at the very end a video of what Nba live's gameplay looks like to compare the two games....

I want to note that i absolutely love the way this game looks and the animation, but most importantly im LOVING the commentary....its actually intellegent banter that wont get old after the third game....especially if you play the association mode.

The swish sounds seem new.

Vinny’s hair is about right.

Derreck Rose, you’ve gotta be flat-out kidding me. Double overtime! Triple overtime!- Chuck wack on crack

No prob

i thought there were some gamers on this site that would really love to see some actual game footage of what 2k10 is gonna look like, and it confirms to me at least that 2k is WAYYYY better than live even this year…gotta love that commentary

Yeah I'm looking at the last video finally

Well the video with the Blazers and Nuggets. And they surprised me with their breaks showing the playoff race, stat ranks and other games that are being played.

I saw one guy say that 2K is like cartoons and its fake etc etc. So I’m more surprised by that. If someone likes Live better its cool but 2K is more realistic I don’t think thats even up for debate. Plus they’ve been consistent for years and steadily improving.

I like the broadcast view

because its the view im most familiar with in basketball in general. When i go to the games, when i watch it on tv, and when i play it in a video game, its always that view… i dont mind the 2k view but only when im doing something like player lock (which if you dont know, is basically controlling one player on the court, for example like in the nba 2k10 combine game)

I just play that view on LIVE

But I like 2k view better just more comfortable. I actually still hit a good % of game winners with the default camera on live but I can’t run my offense as efficiently.

Rose is letting Harris get right past him

This can’t be a good sign

Where have you gone Dalibor Bagaric, our nation turns its lonely eyes to you

the guy in that video

is playing a quick game and i wanna say he is playing on a very easy level or has the game sliders altered…he is just draining some crazy shots even with the computer in his face…with rafer alston!?!

You guys will probably hate this question

but did u notice hinrichs shot? I hated it in 2k9…it was like the most impossible shot to shoot with, and when i saw what they changed it to in draft combine game i questioned if it would look like his shot at all, especially with that wierd after shot arch he does, but then after watching this video i was pleasantly surprised at how geniuinely good it looked…it actually does look like hinrichs real shot….but i wondered if that was just me being giddy at the prospect of seeing these 2k10 vids

Well I’m still watching in the other game though there were a few players whos jumper was ackward to me. I kind of thought they had Kirks shot right last game its smoother here though.

6:32-6:40

my favorite part of the video, i epecially like that kirk knocks down the mop boy and just walks away like nothing…the mop boy shouldve taken a boxers stance and came at kirk ;)

i dont even like video games, but these are really impressive.

and kudos to NBA live on the realistic depiction of CLE’s shabby offensive plan.

Wow. These are great graphics

It looks like actual game footage before you press play.

Hmmm I should of pre-ordered it this one dude was bragging on facebook about the game (he got it like last week)

by Camry on Sep 29, 2009 6:21 PM CDT reply actions

For the first quarter

I hate when your big man shows on the pick and doesn’t get back in time. My big men are always getting scorched it seems like. But this game seems different when I was playing the Combine then again we weren’t running plays really,

Oh great with the directional arrows too. This game is always improving on like 10 different things each game they’re pretty reliable.

Nice to see whoever playing isn’t always trying to steal the ball too I hate when guys do that.

Hah!

Kirk misses the layup and then splits the fts. They have been doing their research.

hah

i sort of thought the same thing…(actually in my head it was more like “dammit, they made it a little TOO real”

They have Tyrus with a pissed off look on his face all the time.

And Noah does his little slinky lateral hop on defense. Overall I like it, but even early on I was annoyed with how much Pargo was playing. Hopefully that doesn’t happen in real life. I found myself muttering “why is he on the floor? where’s rose!!” more than once. Weird that the guy benched Rose during that short clip.
