have no idea why he's saying this now and bringing it up again.

Well, that's technically true
We know he did take it at least twice. What we don’t know is who took it the third time.

The reporters asked him about it today
so he pretty much had to say something. Blame the reporters for bringing it up again. He has taken it. That doesn’t mean someone else didn’t take it for him too. The best score gets sent to the college.
It would be like if someone took it for me. I wouldn’t have to be aware of it at all or know what got sent to the college and go off thinking my score got me in. Rose had enough adults around him handling his affairs back then that he didn’t have to lift a finger or even know about it to have something like this done on his behalf.
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

exactly
he was just answering a question. For some reason it made the ESPN ticker as news. I hope nobody truly cares anymore.

There's a joke to be made here
About Derrick Rose sending Ben Gordon to Detroit to take his SAT…
But I am not going to construct that, so I must ask, Derrick, do you like fish sticks?

He probably took it honestly….then someone arranged to take it behind his back.
Either way, it’s in the past and not relevant.
