Typically optimistic take on things from KC

Although I probably sway a little more to what the “league executives” think about Gordon being a better fit at SG next to Rose than Salmons. Gordon’s much more capable of being the “kick” in a drive and kick situation than Salmons. I mean, Rose will kick it out to Fish, but then he’ll probably go 1 on 1. Not that Gordon didn’t ever do that, but he was also perfectly capable of just spotting up.

I do think that Tyrus will have a semi-breakout year this season. His strong finish to last year, the extreme promise he showed right before the trade (after which his minutes dipped a little) and the supposed strong off-season lead me to expect about 14-15 ppg and 8 rpg from T-Time.

Only time will tell, but damn I’m ready for NBA basketball!

My #1 burning question:

Will the coaching staff get this team to commit to a defensive scheme(that works)? This team has plenty of offensive talent and enough guys that can score. Defense is whats going to make or break this squad, IMO.
