Omer Asik: Hidden Gem
Asik didn't put up stellar numbers in the Eurobasket championships, but 13 and 6 would replace Big Brad's production when he comes off the books next year....

I think that's a slight to Brad

Asik's production per dollar spent
has a good chance to blow Brad out of the water.
On the Chicago Bulls, it can.
The 2009 White Sox....like a 40 degree day.

heh, exactly
Pargo may have a better per-dollar contribution than Gordon as well, sheesh. What, are we trying to make this list?

I would definitely suggest...
…especially for the Bulls, that Brad Miller brings something different than what his numbers bring. The passing and the outside shooting really open up the lane for driving (so I think/hope).
People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett
Not quite
Brad Miller won’t go 1-10 from the line to nearly blow a game.
Asik has a long way to go to come close to what Brad has done and still can do in the NBA.
12/31: Fire Vinny Del Negro.
The Bulls need Big Sofo !
He would bring the 15-20 minutes off the bench to add post scoring to the Bulls. And Beef down low.
Speaking of beef down low, I was surprised to see Asik (despite a somewhat slender frame) hold his own defensively against big and strong guys. He looks to have very strong lower body.
The Game chose him !
