I guess it's positive that a Bull made the list.

And that guy is crusty veteran guard Lindsey Hunter, who (if he continues to play) is considered a one-man, full-court press.

Lindsay Hunter?

His on the ball defense is a thing of the past. He can’t stay in front of these young quick guards anymore. I guess he’s still living off of his reputation.

"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty six times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."- Michael Jordan

Yeah, most of these picks seemed at least legit

but Lindsay Hunter as the best on-ball defender?! That’s ludicrous. What year is it? 1998? I think the answer should be obvious… Kurt Hinrich.

really? i dunno.

some were decent, but i hate picking lebron as the best dunker. his dunks aren’t that good, and they all look the same…

Well, what I meant was that the rest of the picks were at least defensible

I agree that LeBron’s not the best dunker. I would say that Kobe and D-Wade are even better dunkers than him. I don’t think it would be too much of a crime to throw Rudy Fernandez and Tyrus Thomas into that mix either. But it’s not totally out of left field to say LeBron.

It is totally out of left field to say Lindsay “I play 5 minutes a week” Hunter is the best on-ball defender in the league.

lol, yes.

i mean of course it’s more of a stretch to pick hunter.

but i was just saying i wasn’t crazy about all his other choies either.

Better dunkers than Lebron:

J-Rich, Gerald Wallace, Kobe Bryant, Andre Iguodala, Josh Smith, among others. BTW, best dunkers for the next ten years are gonna be D-Rose and Russell Westbrook. That dunk Westbrook had against Golden State was all-time sick.

by dakoose on Sep 2, 2009 4:34 PM CDT up reply actions

Yes it was

I would also like to throw this out there as one of the best dunks of the last decade: Baron Davis’ dunk on the Mavs during their first round upset a couple years back. When I saw that I immediately jumped off my couch and started yelling.

and to think

go back to that rookie top 10 posted on here a little while ago.

that dunk wasn’t even on there!!!!!

what a shitty top 10.
