ooohhh fuck!

You know what? People are going to keep talking about this guy and he’ll be worst than Aaron Gray you watch. I hate Euros.

I have seen a QB and it was good.

He’s going to be better than Gray…simply due to not being a slow ass whale.

I’m not worried about FT’s, most centers can’t shoot them. And FT shooting is not hard to fix. Look at Noah, he’s around 70% now.

No excuses.

I guess guards

don’t have an excuse for not shooting over 50% from 3pt range. After all, there’s someone who did that before to.

Thanks for the link, though, Sikma’s FT shooting was amazing.

Well, there was probably nothing to do in Kankakee

(Sikma’s home town) but practice shooting.

The point is tall people can shoot free throws well.

I wish they kept Kerr around

instead of letting him go the Spurs.

Ok wow you use ONE players’ stats. What does that prove? Nothing except that Sikma was a great FT shooting center.

Of course centers if they work hard can learn to shoot well from FT line but to be honest 80% of em suck shootin em so it’s not a huge deal.

Think outside the box

Asik’s poor FT% can be turned into an advantage. Since he has an ungodly high FG% and correspondingly low FT%, teams will defend him with hack-a-Shaq as soon as he touches the ball. So you put him out there to start each quarter and yank his butt as soon as they get into the bonus. That will get them into the bonus faster, leading to more FTA for our better FT% shooters.

Hack-an-Asik

That’s what European journalists are starting to call it.

Don’t know when the Bulls plan to bring him over, but your Turkish center draft pick from 2008 better learns to shoot free throws before coming to the NBA. He is really abysmal in the ongoing EuroBasket tournament from the line. He is 1 for 11 and 2 for 6 in the last two games, and they lost the last one by 2 to Slovenia (the Raptors’ Turkoglu is also having a rough tournament which doesn’t help matters). Asik is 7 for 30 overall, 23%. Shaq would be embarrassed. So would be Big Ben Wallace.

In his last healthy season he shot at least 52% for his club. Apparently he didn’t practice it a lot while rehabbing his knee injury.
