Nba-2k10----61

Derrick rose looks good in NBA 2k10. Slow news day. It would be nice if the Bulls did something this offseason besides letting their best scorer go.

shoes aren't right.

Close but they still have some ways to go.

Yea

its an early pic, my guess is they havent gotten the shoe licenses yet so they cant make the actual shoes until they get the license.

?!?!

YOU DISGUST ME!!!

(ACTUALLY i have high hopes for nba live this year since they got the lead guy for 2k6-2k8 on thier payroll. Also the guy happens to be a hinrich fan so i might just want to play his game just because its probably more possible to tear it up with hinrich in live…although if past games are any indication…its easy to tear it up with anybody in nba live)

What makes you like live anyway?

I agree.

I can’t stand NBA Live or NFL Blitz.

by PricanStar on Aug 19, 2009 1:31 PM CDT up reply actions

Blitz was the shit

It wasn’t realistic at all but it was mindless fun. I loved the exaggerated tackles. There was some special about tackling someone… then jumping on and smashing him body while he was still on the ground…

Fond memories.

Kinda got me think about NBA Jam and how awesome it was back then too. I remember distinctly how the games never had Jordan… he would of “broke” those games.

nba live this year might actually have a chance

ea realized they sucked so they cracked out the checkbook ( yes even gaming corporations are willing to spend to win) and hired the 2k designer to move to ea so nba live might actually be good this year or next

by sin on Aug 20, 2009 2:27 PM CDT up reply actions

Still they've been so far ahead

I don’t believe one designer is going to make up that difference. Some of their features compared to 2K still look goofy.

YES!

New 2k10 Info

Its nice to hear that doing crossovers and fancy dribbles has been simplified.

One thing I’m even more excited about is the…

“Another feature addition that changes gameplay a bit is a partnership with 82games.com, a site that tracks an incredible amount of statistics throughout the NBA. It goes beyond how many points and rebounds each player gets a night. 2K Sports is using data such as how often players shoot when coming off screens, how they get to the right position to use a screen and how often they make certain cuts to the basket and where those cuts are made. The detail even goes as far as to gauge a player’s head position while driving to the basket. This data will be used to accentuate and advance the typical Signature Play that the series has become known for. 2K is adding 36 new tendencies to the game that will be used by the AI to bring the action closer to reality.”

36 NEW player tendencies! I thought that 2k9 basically covered all of them but I guess they really want to break basketball down to a science.

I wonder what rating Derrick Rose will be this year…

I think 80-84 is reasonable.

by 420man! on Aug 20, 2009 3:45 PM CDT reply actions

after the last 2k9 update...

they had him at 87… so I’d think somewhere in the 86-88 range is fairly reasonable

Agree

He worked on his jump shot this summer. That should boost up his rating a little. I remember he had a 99 rating with Handles and I think a 99 for speed. Which is realistic to me!
