Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

"I have absolutely no desire," says Kahn, "to build a team that perennially wins 40 to 45 games and scratches and claws for the first round."

Don't you wish you would ever hear something like that out of Paxdorf's or Reinsdorf's mouths.

Then Kahn's first step should be drafting two of every position.

I hear that works wonders.

Why didn't we pick Ty Lawson?

He was available!!!!!

I support the Tornado Release [See: Joakim Noah]

He could have picked Taj!

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

"We were surprised he was still available!"

“We got the player we wanted!”

Wow, congrats Minnesota

You upgraded from a guy who was worse than Isiah Thomas to someone who learned the art of public relations. The Target Center is going to be sold out now.

The Chicago Bulls.....the more profitable Los Angeles Clippers.

He is much too outspoken criticizing his players (or rather the players he found on the roster) and talking about his plans for your average GM who says little with a lot of words. But hey, if it works he could be, um, the next Mark Cuban maybe.

Cuban has (had?) a billion dollars to back up his cocky attitude

Kahn has to beg Glen Taylor for money. I give him 3 years.
