Same.

I’m gonna go contact the 2k sports people to see if they can send me a download code for an early copy…..to “review” the game.

It’s cool that they put career mode in there. I wasn’t going to get the combine game originally, but since it’s connected to a career mode in 2k10, I’m gonna pick it up.

Good point

It appears that someone else will be ghost writing his statements, if the quote from him in that link is any example. Other than that, he just has to look pretty and show up where they tell him to.

LMAO

I swear I was thinking the same thing when I read the title of the post.

We can only hope that they put the chair in the game.

That would have to be in the Los Angeles level though.

Nice

"Vinny continues to act like a crazed arsonist pouring gasoline on our season while running around carrying a torch yelling 'I’m in charge. Don’t any of you foolish knaves try to second guess me. I know gasoline is a liquid but I’m pretty sure it isn’t flammable and the odor gives me a natural high.'" - Tyrusmancrush

He is in.... Derrick is going to become a household name next to Kobe and Lebron.

I cannot wait for the season to begin. In terms of marketability he may be right behind Lebron James and because he plays for Chicago and IS FROM Chicago he is going to make so much damn money it is going to be incredible.

How many National TV games do the Bulls have on schedule this year. I expect the NBA to showcase Derrick Rose this year…..esp if he has a sophomore expolsion like Dwayne Wade did. This is amazing… a new era for Chicago Basketball has finally begun in earnest this time.

No false starts…… no hype. Reinsdorf is not fool either. They are going to put a team around Rose because it is good for profits. The NBA is no fool either. I expect more of this. I am sure Rose agent is working on the public persona and handling of the media.

Jordan had to be taught how to deal as a star and he learned “media speak”. I read an SI article on Jordan a long time ago when he was really rising as a star and it said during the off season that Jordan was taught how to deal with the public and how to craft his image.

I expect no difference from Derrick Rose. He may be irritated by that part of it but he will recognize that it is a devil he will have to live with. He will learn to embrace the camera, but not in a brash way, which will add to his appeal.

I am going to start a fan post to expand on this topic on the imagery face lift the NBA is looking to do and using Derrick Rose to do so.

Thats a cool link

http://www.gamespot.com/sports/blogs/sports-blog/909097139/26985199/nba-2k10-draft-combine-2ks-dlc-gamble.html i read this article about a week ago and it has pretty much the same info plus images (YEY).

I actually have taken sort of a head start tour on this by making (or trying) to make myself on 2k9. If you get a preview version of the game i for one will be extremely jealous…

I asked for a copy of 2k10 too.

Can’t hurt to ask, right. I’m sure they give a certain number of review copies out to bloggers.

You stat guys might like 2k10

2k is working with 82games.com the same way ea was working with synergy sports so that they can make the players in the game more realistic to the actual players….its so players controlled by the a.i. will do what the real players would do like shoot from certain spots, take over when they should, or commit the same mistakes at the same rate…

I dont know if you played 2k9

but ben gordon was an elite three point shooter in that game. His shooting style with his ratings, made him one of the easiest guys to shoot threes with, especially in the clutch. Hinrich however, i got his rating up to 95 in three point shooting, and i still couldnt knock down an open three with him.

How did Hinrich's open-layup rate fare?

Post-game response to every question: "Remember, I'm Italian"

its there

….sadly…..i adjusted the game sliders so i can play 12 min quarters, and the game got pretty realistic, all the way to hinrich missing wide open layups, and d-rose not getting to the foul line….

its true

bg was an elite shooter in the game
ive found it quite difficult and depressing to play the bulls without him
absolutely no outside threat

by sin on Aug 12, 2009 2:38 PM CDT up reply actions

Gordon is a solid three point shooter.

But elite? The guy misses way too many wide open threes with a perfect release to be considered an elite three point shooter.

Gordon should be similar to Ray Allen shooting wise in the game. Ray Allen? That guy rarely misses in the game if wide open.

He is.

Maybe you’re releasing at the wrong time or something?
BG is pretty ****ing unstoppable from 3.

yea and on top of that

they gave him that superstar ability….meaning he is one of those guys who can shoot 3s when he is cold…

I have the timing down.

I’ve gone to practice mode. I know what it takes to get a perfect release with Gordon. I’ve thrown up more shots than the guy then anyone else in the game.

I should mention that I play on the hardest difficulty in there. When I’m playing an online game Gordon usually torches it, but that’s on an easier game mode.

It might be that he doesn't sink every open three but he just drains more contested ones than Ray-ray

which would be consistent with in-game observation.

This is interesting

When the Bulls trade Derrick Rose in 2012 for Stromile Swift’s expiring contract, I can just simulate seasons on 2K and live a wild fantasy where the Bulls are a good team.

The Chicago Bulls.....the more profitable Los Angeles Clippers.

by Ozzie Montana on Aug 12, 2009 4:18 PM CDT up reply actions

Sign and trades are a thing of the past.

Now the Bulls just let their guys walk to conference and division rivals.

Next up is Derrick bolting to Cleveland to play with Lebron.
