Dwayne Wade would be a great fix for the Bulls. The former high school star from the Chicago area is tired of miami and may not resign with the heat. If the Bulls would get this great future hall of famer, they will drastically improve than the team they were that featured ben Gordon. I wish the Bulls had gotton him in the draft that year than the subpar and average Kirk Hinrich. Wade would form an awsome Chicago native tandem with Derrick Rose and lead the bulls pass that pathetic .500 rut they seem to be stuck .

Dwayne Wade would not accept mediocrity and demand perfection just like Michael Jordon. This is what the bulls have been missing all these years as their rosters have been filled with average players just happy to get that big fat athletes paycheck. There are many NBA insiders who think the Bulls stand a solid chance of landing Dwayne Wade.Chicago offers a chance for Dwayne wade to get bigger exposure and by letting Gordon go the Bulls are in better position to land a bigger prize. Bulls fans need to pray and hope this guy decides to leave the dinosaur pat Riley and the heat of Miami for his Chicago land of lincoln homeland. Thye bulls will just offer the same nonsense that fans saw last year and the many years before that after their gresat run ended.

Wade and Rose

They don’t mix very well. They’re both slashers. I’m not saying I wouldn’t take Dwyane Wade in a heartbeat, but my first option has to be Bosh. But if Wade wants to come back to Chicago, then I couldn’t be happier.

by KJBidz on Jul 9, 2009 1:44 AM CDT reply actions

I agree that a big man (like Bosh) should be a higher priority

but why do people keep saying that Wade and Rose wouldn’t play well together? And they’re both “slashers”… do you know what that even means? Wade would LOVE to have a PG like Rose, so that Wade doesn’t have to bring the ball up, do all the scoring, and then guard the opponents’ best perimeter player. He’ll still have to do some of those things, but playing with Rose would definitely make it do Wade can play off the ball some, and Rose would take some of the scoring load plus make Wade’s scoring easier.

Do you not remember that Pat Riley really really really really really wanted to draft Rose instead of Beasley? And when Rose didn’t fall, Riley took Chalmers with a late 1st rounder (or early 2nd)? Do you think he wanted to replace Wade with a quality PG or have him play with Wade?

by kozzer on Jul 9, 2009 7:25 AM CDT up reply actions

I agree.

There would be some advantages to it, but Wade isn’t the ideal fit. I would still take him with zero hesitation seeing as he’s one of the top three players in the NBA. And a slasher is someone who drives to the basket.

by KJBidz on Jul 9, 2009 9:51 AM CDT up reply actions

If we make some moves, we could get both...

Deal Hinrich for expirings, ship Salmons to a team with cap room for a draft pick, and we could have room for two max contracts.
Rose
Wade
Deng
Bosh/Stoudemire
Noah
The bench would be very thin, but use the MLE to get a backup guard to go with Johnson, Gibson, and Tyrus if we can find a way to keep him, and we’ll be fantastic.

How do we know

He wants out of Miami? They made quite a leap last year, seems to me the team is moving in the right direction.

by chlutz508 on Jul 9, 2009 7:43 AM CDT reply actions

Wade made a point of announcing

that he would leave if the Heat weren’t in competition for a championship, and that a simple playoff berth wouldn’t do.

So yeah, if the Heat don’t at least get close to the Finals, he can be persuaded to leave. I’m rooting for a first round playoff loss for them, as i’m sure that he’ll leave unless the heat bring in another all star next year.

but that's the "Chicago is home" part!

Part of that leap...

what because Wade was actually healthy to play in enough games to matter. He missed 30 games each of the previous two seasons.

I'm ridiculously afraid that Wade is going to have

a Grant Hill career arc.

I'm meant with injuries you jackass.

Even AA understood that as you can see below.

Jordon was OK

Kind of a scrappy point guard in the late 80’s

Wade wants to be on a contender,

so before we start planning Wade’s homecoming party, the Bulls need to make sure that they are contenders next year, but I would love to see Wade with the Bulls though.

The ideal complement to Rose would be someone along the lines of Raja Bell, a good spot-up shooter, and otherwise defense-oriented guy. But I think Rose and Wade could figure out how to stay out of each others way, Having two good passers in the backcourt would be nice, too.

The Bulls would have to move Deng, tho. With Rose-Wade-Deng-Thomas-Noah, now you have five guys, none of whom can shoot outside of 18 feet or so.

by boobie trap on Jul 11, 2009 8:27 AM CDT reply actions

Good point on the lack of outside shooting.

However, Wade’s jumper has developed somewhat, and we can only hope that Rose’s will do the same.

by Poloplaya14 on Jul 14, 2009 2:28 AM CDT up reply actions

KJ

Wade and Rose cant play together apparently you have never played basketball to even make such a cluck statement, as someone on here stated Pat Riley wanted him before Beasley and you are probably one of the few who dont know anything basketball that believes that Rose and Wade cant play together. I am shocked, even thinking about coming to your house and taking your computer for such a statement

by BullySixChicago on Jul 11, 2009 1:34 PM CDT reply actions

I didn't say that they couldn't play together.

They can, and they would be great, just not ideal like Bosh. And don’t doubt my basketball knowledge, I’ve played it all my life.

I would rather have Jalene Rose over Wade

hands down, do you agree angryandy? Wade is a weak human with weak bones. Jalene Rose has been resting up in the ESPN booth, I think he’s fresh for the 2009/2010 season.

AA is messing with everyone.

Nobody who uses the word “plateau” in a sentence would spell it like that. I’m just trying to figure out who he really is. There’s some kinda weirdo von Trier “Idiots” thing going on…

The gig is up, Andy!

lol! But Jalene Rose is always so soft

with his analysis of players. Got no Stephen A Smith in him. Guess that makes him a weak human with strong bones, at best.

nice addition to your signature line
