Seriously, Hinrich for Blake + Fernandez + Outlaw. NOW!!!

The ONLY negotiating that should be done is which type of future pick the Bulls should throw in.

Blazers THAT’S-TOO-MUCH-FOR-RUUUUUDY will have:
Hinrich – Bayless
Roy – Webster
Turkoglu – Batum
Aldridge – Frye (???)
Przybilla – Oden

Then they’ll have Claver and picks to replace Webster and Frye.

Bulls
Rose – Blake
Salmons – Ruuuuuudy
Deng – Johnson – Outlaw
Thomas – Outlaw – Johnson – Gibson
Noah – Miller

Outlaw provides more depth so Miller isn’t gassed by the end of the year.
*At PF so Noah doesn’t have to play there and can play mostly C

2010
Rose
Rudy
Deng
Johnson
Thomas???
Noah
Asik

And they’ll still be able to go after one max free agent next year.

People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett

I don't see how your trade works

Too much money headed towards Portland. Is there something else I’m missing?

by NittanyCub on Jul 3, 2009 2:45 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, I forgot to include the link. Sorry and thank you.

Blake + Outlaw saves the Bulls more money and still works, but throwing in a future 1st for Fernandez seems like a good deal, too. He’s become expendable to them.

You would think the Gordon departure

would have convinced everyone that Hinrich is staying

by Option27 on Jul 3, 2009 2:28 PM CDT reply actions

Are you talking about the people above who are proposing trades for Hinrich for Blake and Fernandez

Like, two guys who would replace Hinrich? You would think common sense would have convinced everyone that it’s at feasible because this franchise is cheap as hell. And they save money doing this.

I think the Bulls are content with Hinrich.

They know him too well.

He was the insurance to BG leaving and he’ll most likely continue to be

He was never the insurance to Gordon.

They were completely unrelated. They were actively trying to trade Hinrich at the deadline. They may overvalue him, but they were really trying to trade him. Really. Hinrich’s nice to have, but Salmons is going to be the starting SG. He was brought in as Gordon’s insurance. Hinrich is still an overpaid backup. They are not related. They were trying to trade Hinrich at the deadline. They didn’t like what they were offered, but it wasn’t because of Gordon. They weren’t going to re-sign Gordon after last off-season, so Salmons was their insurance for Gordon. They were trying to trade Hinrich at the deadline. Salmons was Gordon’s insurance because they knew they weren’t going to re-sign Gordon. Hinrich was not Gordon’s insurance because they were trying to trade Hinrich at the deadline.

Can't we try to get Ruffin back in this trade somehow.

I always liked seeing an extra-terrestrial on the bench cheering.

by BigforkBullsFan on Jul 3, 2009 2:48 PM CDT reply actions

according to Doug Thonus

Taj Gibson is the next Mike Ruffin.

Now is the time for Pax to pull the trigger

with Portland, but we all know that he will not do it.

I think they can do better than Hinrich if Fernandez is truly that frustrated

It's now or never for Rudy

Pax needs to forget the love he has for Hinrich and trade him fast before someone steal Rudy
