According to VDN, the starting line ups are not set. So we as fans should be ready for anything.
"I don’t know if the starting lineup is set," Del Negro insisted. "There are things we’ll do a little differently. We should have a good rotation, deeper. I thought our rotations at times got a little short at the end of the season. So hopefully I can get a comfort factor with the young guys and guys we added to have a deeper rotation. Jannero can score. Kirk will push Derrick. John and Luol at three. Luol can play four. James Johnson can play three and four. Without having our leading scorer, we’re going to have to have other guys producing those points and also making plays down the stretch for us. We expect a lot for ourselves." http://blogs.bulls.com/chicago_bulls_blog/2009/07/forman-and-del-negro-optimistic-about-season.html
With that in mind, I thought of the following poll. The conventional wisdom is that the Bulls will start Rose-Salmons-Deng-Thomas-Noah to begin the season. But VDN doesn't do conventional wisdom. VDN loves to play small, would trust Kirk with his life, begins every day staring at a picture of Brad Miller, began last season with Thabo in the starting line up (w/ Kirk and Ben on the bench), started Aaron Gray 8 games last season, and has the best hair of any person on TV. I think the Bulls should start Rose-Salmons-Deng-Thomas-Noah. I think they will start Rose-Hinrich-Deng-Thomas-Noah. Another possibility is Rose-Hinrich-Deng-Noah-Miller. .
