So he's finally decided to return to Rivendell where he came from. Hm.

1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

Where did it say that?

Looking at the house, I’m not surprised he’s selling it. Not that great for an NBA millionaire… it’s not even a million dollar home. It does look like he;s already moved out, so I wonder where he’s living now? (Rivendell?)

You know, now that I think about it,

This is his first house, isn’t it? I think he bought something bigger with the second contract/wife/kid stuff. So never mind.

(Man, I’m gonna get kicked out of the fan club…)

He bought a place in Bannockburn

For $4.4M in the Summer of 2007…5.7 Acres and over 9000 square feet…

Yeah, that's the

first house he bought. I wonder why he kept it so long after buying his mansion?

Having bought a house in Northern VA in 2005 and sold it in early 2008, I can only say I feel for Kirk

He might do well to rent it out for a couple years. Really little downside to that if you don’t immediately need the cash to turn it around (he doesn’t).

by Sports2 on Jul 23, 2009 8:44 PM CDT reply actions

Even with 20% down...

He is probably carrying close to $5,500 per month on that home…there are not too many people out there with that kind of cash for a rental…

I guess he could just rent to a teammate he will not be around very long(Jerome James anyone)…

I'm sure the house was paid for

when he bought it.

The tax records show...

A mortgage of $682,500 recorded in ’04…

It is usually better to have some sort of mortgage on your primary residence, as your paid interest is deductible…and these guys need as many deductions as possible in their bracket…

Just so you guys know...

Hinrich’s new house is better than MJ’s and JR’s combined. Take a look at his French Country-style mansion.

I don't want it.

I can get it for anyone...

But I didn’t want to post it here…but it is public record in Lake County.

Hey, that was me in grad school!

I picture Reinsdorf living in an battered efficiency and eating beans from the can

What do people do with more that 2 or 3 rooms anyhow?

And to be fair...

Hinrich’s house does not compare to MJ’s
