VDN...

- we have to get healthy, Deng and Salmons in particular

- our top guys have to play well to make up for losing gordon

- Rose turnovers were up a bit in the playoffs, but good experience

- couldn’t be happier with Rose

- Derrick leadership will improve. his shooting and decision making need to improve. developing his skills to make other players better.

- ben was fantastic. VDN enjoyed coaching him

- Luol Deng has to step up at in-game situations. Salmons

- Tyrus and Joakim have been working out. Jo has put on weight.

- JJ has to refine his skills. Big body, needs to lose 10, but skills passing and ball handling his size are good.

- Taj a great kid. needs to add 10lbs

- Noah became a real pro as the year progressed.

Curry's shot badly throughout summer league

Really odd.

Vinny Del Negro Offensive Gameplan, Part 1
-When there's less than 30 seconds left in the game, that's me with my hands cupped around my mouth yelling.

I don't think it's that surprising-

he’s a 6’3 guard with average quickness, an average handle, below average strength, and below average leaping ability. He’s a marvelous shooter, but as a point guard, that’s neutralized to an extent, and people can play up on him because he’s not a threat to beat them off the dribble. Maybe he’s Mike Bibby…but I doubt it.

From what I was reading on the Warriors' blog he's been finishing at the rim though.

Maybe they are just playing up on him but … he can hit shots that are a high degree of difficulty, too.

It surprised them too.

He was always very crafty in college, though, from what I remember/scouting.

Well

Recap
JJ showed that he can handle the ball, he he went coast to coast a few times- one ended in a sick dunk! his shot was nice, he showed he had some range, 1-2 from the 3pt line and a few shots here and there. He inbounded the ball i think everytime (for sam smith), overall he did a pretty good job and im excited to watch him next season.

Taj Gibson proved to everyone that he was who we thought he was, a hard worker, he had 7 offensive boards with a few putbacks he never gave up on a play, he had a few moves inside, and some OK defense.. couldnt contain Randolph though, he had 42 points a summer league record.

James Augustine looked pretty good with he was 10-11, his inside game looked pretty good, but he had 7 fouls and he got beat up by randolph. But i but he seemes like he could develop into a solid bench player.

The guards sucked.
Roberson jacked up threes and didnt seem to have a good flow of the game, neither did demarcus, but demarcus had a few good shots here and there..
Linton Johnson played some scrappy D..

yea that about it.. basically James Johnson seems like a good pick

"Game 7 of the 2011 Finals.. 10 seconds left in the game, the score is tied up 92-92.. Kobe with the ball he drives in.. IS BLOCKED by bosh, Rose picks it up Runs it down Throws up a pass to Wade.. WADE SCORES! GAME OVER ! BULLS WIN BULLS WIN!"
