Around SBN: How A Letter From Tom Coughlin Helped One Fan's Recovery

"Coach Riley opened up the wound when he said, 'Until Dwyane signs back, we can't do anything,' " Wade said Thursday, according to the Miami Herald. "But me and Pat Riley are not against each other. We both want the same thing. We're just in two different positions.''

You beat me to it...

I really loved this article. Even though the title insinuates there isn’t a rift, I see a glimmer of hope developing!

exactly

i didn’t really do anything to assuage that presumption either – i guess i could have indicated that not as to get anyone’s hopes up with the boozer stuff and all

"...but the devil lives inside this kid, I swear it. It rises out of him in a mist, this baby-faced defiant wrathful version of Pat Kane, escapes his bodily confines to perform satanic miracles all over the offensive zone. The only thing more fearsome than that assist was the keep-in preceding it. The only thing more unholy than his face is his black magic." GMH

Thinking about Wade

One report has Wade being the most logical target if the Bulls do indeed make Boozer a trade. It mentions that if they indeed do put all their marbles into Wade, most likely Bosh and James and everyone else would be too late to come back to.

My thoughts: Can’t Forman go and lure Wade while Paxson goes and tried to lure Bosh?

They could do both

Will we have enough cap space to sign both of them?

The answer is no, they can't be in two places at the same time if they're the same person.

"It’d be ridiculous to hate someone for simply what they say in a sports blog. But I greatly dislike every syllable of your angst-filled, smarmy, nondescript, half-assed, elitist-garbage responses." –Rogerspark Kris

ugh, a team of Rose, Wade, Boozer and Noah (and Deng?) is good, but not THAT good.

Theyd be the teens’ Pistons, only older… and younger

People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett

I'd take it

or ‘go to war’ with them, if one would so dare.

huh?

how is it not THAT good? Wade won with old Shaq and a hodge podge of has beens. Boozer had a down year last year, but he’s still in his prime and recently was putting up years as good as Shaq’s in 2005-2006. Add Rose on top of those two and it should easily outdo that team, not to mention Deng and Noah are better than anything else that team had.

Meanwhile, look at what we have right now. Any fan who wouldn’t repeatedly leap for joy upon that team being assembled is delusional.

also

remind me who on the Pistons was close to as good as Wade?

by JSlakov on Jul 11, 2009 7:31 AM CDT up reply actions

how is that not good?

that’s championship material. Anything with Rose and Wade is going to be unBULLievable especially with a post presence like Boozer
