Open Game #3 Thread – Los Angeles Lakers at Orlando Magic

Open Game #3 Thread – Los Angeles Lakers at Orlando Magic

Game starts at 8:00 CDT on ABC and TSN.

Since I am too lazy to write a preview, here is a link to the SB Nation partner Yahoo! One:Link - box score link is at that page also at game time.

My fearless prediction – Orlando gets the "home court bounce" and wins by 3 over a "sleepy" Lakers team.

Go Lakers – Win No. 10 for Phil!

Go Orlando!

Don’t suck and cause Kobe to show his intense, rodent teeth at us again!

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

Anyone watching?

I saw the last 0.2!

Frst part of a Finals game I’ve watched, actually. They keep playing them when I work.

Three things you must know:
-"Ben Gordon is a bundle of muscle and clutch. That's all he's made of. Drink BG7 energy drink, you'll grow a pair of balls on your balls."
-Pau Gasol: The defense of a seven foot ladder paired with the post presence of Manute Bol.
-Joakim Noah is better than you.

I watched it

but was too lazy to turn on this laptop.

Has anyone heard anything about Omri Casspi's work out?

If the Bulls are bring back Gordon and keep Hinrich, a draft of Hansbrough and Casspi would be intriguing. Casspi has a lot of work to do, but he seems like someone that could come in for 10 mpg and run, run, run.

If the Bulls strike out and dno’t make any moves this summer other than re-sign Gordon and draft two players

Rose/Hinrich
Gordon/Hinrich/Salmons
Deng/Salmons/Casspi/TiT
Tyrus/Noah/Hansbrough/Casspi/TiT
Miller/Noah

has a lot of depth and trade possibilities. Of course, he could be a complete, 100% bust, but that’s why you have the “safer” pick in Hansbrough.

People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett

Casspi got a pan from Doug Thonus.

I am sorta

waiting for the Magic to win one before I become invested in this series again. Otherwise, refs are stupid blah blah, Kobe’s teeth ewww, blah blah, 60%+ shooting??, “Stan looks like he is coaching the High School Musical basketball team”, what? I am only half watching this one. I have some work stuff I have to do tonight.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

Joey is so good

he anticipates fouls before they happen. He even sees fouls no one else can see. You can’t teach those kinds of job skills.

How does a team shoot 63% from the field and barely hang on to win?

Oh right, BECAUSE KOBE WANTS IT SO BAD LOOK AT HIS TEETH.

That Steve Nash is exactly the same as Kirk Hinrich, but worse.

You know the NBA logo of Jerry West’s silhouette? Stern should come up with a logo designed around Kobe’s teeth. It could be Stern’s parting legacy as he drifts towards retirement.

Darn, I was off by one in the margin of victory.
