Bring the Prince to Chicago

Hey Pax give Detroit the 26th and Deng for Tashaun Prince to keep the floor balance and defend King James and Kobe, he's also a nightmare for them on the offensive end. while you SIGN Gordon!!!! and Rose and Salmon can benefit from a defensive and offensive view. he and Salmons can play handle the rock when Gordon on the court .

Trade Tyrus and 16th pick for a Star Big Man (BOSH could sign an extension so sign and trade is not outta the question)

So, how did everyone feel about Terminator 4?

I feel the plot was really bad, but the special effects were superb; which is essentially what I look for in a summer action flick. Let me know what you guys think!

I didn't go.

An entire story about John freak’n out about a friendly Terminator…didn’t boy John get over that in T2 after about five minutes? Not sure how that should have been earth shattering. No thanks.

I asked a friend who went last week to tell me what the plot was.

I mean beyond the explodey stuff that is pretty obvious in the trailers. So that combined with chunky dialog and questionable medical stuff…I’ll probably Netflix it later. I’d rather go see Star Trek again personally. :)

why surprised?

cranscape doesn’t watch the bulls half the time, and the other half watches the ’net-spastic “free” feeds.

and she’s always right about them.

What is with the snobbery?

We were just talking about movies. You could always try not responding to any of my posts. I am sure other people here manage that kind of restraint with people they don’t like.

I watched the entire season even though I took a break from online fandom for a time. And I only watch the feeds because they moved CSN up to a higher level of cable than I can afford. Rip me for living within my means? I know you tend to be a jerk about basketball with me every chance you get, but take a hiatus please. This is the off season and it ain’t like I kicked your puppy or something. Get a perspective.

I can't say I was disappointed

because I wasn’t expecting much, but even given that I was still disappointed. Just a pointless, mindless summer action flick. It’s like these people that make these movies forget what made the franchise special in the first place, or they just don’t care. The only good thing about the whole movie was that new guy, judging from IMDB his name is Sam Worthington, he was really good. Other than that the movie should have been terminated

I want to see Transformers 2

But I’m cautious that it’s going to suck like almost every other sequel ever made. Sam Worthington was really good. If any of you guys want to become suicidal, click on this link.

Things could be worse. We could have kept Boylan.

I enjoyed Star Trek much more

And I haven’t watched a single Stark Trek movie or TV show in my entire life, McG is a douche.

On the other hand, I have to change my undergarments every hour or so before Transformers 2 comes out. The trailer alone is better than half the movies from this year.

That Steve Nash is exactly the same as Kirk Hinrich, but worse.

T4 was also discussed on the Chicago Bullseye podcast - Fred and Mark wander off-topic into pop culture way too often.

The problem I have with this trade is Prince will be in decline by the time Rose peaks.

On the other hand, if Deng really is too fragile to be a full-time player, then dumping his contract for a very good player who will be productive for a few more years is not bad.

Prince has only been in the league 6 years, right?

That is only two year removed from Deng as far as NBA wear and tear goes. Prince stayed in college longer than is typical and only played limited minutes in the first NBA season he was in. I don’t find him a terribly exciting player, but he has a ring and a medal and has manged to stay healthy which speaks well to his future prospects.

Michael Beasley

for Tyrus Thomas and the 16th pick. Beasley and Rose are both going into their second year and within the next 3 years both will be Allstars and hopefully developed on defense.

Only if it was to a team with cap space that did not send back relatively equal contracts.

Or for players with non-guaranteed contracts.

Right...

Trading Deng just to trade Deng doesn’t help financially. He has to go to a team willing and able to take on his contract without returning contracts.

I guess technically, the Bulls can re-sign Gordon above the cap, right? But that would put the team into luxury tax territory, which the organization has worked hard to avoid.

by SouthernCub on Jun 8, 2009 12:10 PM CDT up reply actions

In the spirit of this thread..Lets do a 4-4 trade for Bosh, Wade, D. Howard, and Kobe

for Tyrus, Deng, Kirk, and Salmons? And still have enough cap room to sign BG.

man up!

Hey, BG would be a 6th man then!!

That faction would be happy I guess.
