Around SBN: The Amateur Mathematics Of Linsanity

Summary: Bosh has reached his offensive ceiling with the Raptors. His defense can improve, but only with the right system.

Conclusion: Chicago, without a real system, is the ideal destination to craft one around Rose, Gordon, and Bosh.

I posted this a couple days ago, buried in another Bosh thread

I thought it was a nice example of a preemptive fan smear campaign. I think Raps fans are nuts if they think ‘rebuilding’ in Toronto will give them any success anytime soon.

(that wasn't meant to say the fanshot is a duplicate)

it’s all good, that other Bosh thread got pushed down the page anyway.

This does it...

(luckily I skimmed to this point and wasn’t forced to read everything before, and decided to read nothing after it)

Take Kevin Garnett’s example in Minnesota, he was handed a max-contract and outside of one playoff run, couldn’t muster a thing in the post-season. He’s a great example of very good player that can be counted on to do certain very valuable things such as playing defense, toughening up the inside, being a floor leader, but the second you ask him to provide for you when it counts you run into trouble.

A player needs good players around him to win. ::gasp::

People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett

I liked "Luis Scola is more efficient" too.

Not all blogs are created equal

That Steve Nash is exactly the same as Kirk Hinrich, but worse.

I JUST REALIZED THAT

I … I finally clicked through, and when I saw that graph I started cracking up.
Seriously?
SERIOUSLY?!?
AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Three things you must know:
-"Ben Gordon is a bundle of muscle and clutch. That's all he's made of. Drink BG7 energy drink, you'll grow a pair of balls on your balls."
-Pau Gasol: The defense of a seven foot ladder paired with the post presence of Manute Bol.
-Joakim Noah is better than you.

As a Bulls fan, I agree!

Bosh is garbage, and Bryan Colangelo should trade him as soon as possible. As a gesture towards improving U.S.-Canada relations, we’ll take him in Chicago.

Why resort to name calling?

Raptors logic:

We’ve stockpiled a couple good players … four. And we aren’t winning! WHY NOT?!?
What if we trade some of those players … for … worse players? What would happen then?
Maybe we’ll get better!!!!

I think the Raptors need Brad Miller. Lok at those passes!

Bosh is positively greedy compared to him. Miller and TT for Bosh straight-up.
Come on, Colangelo, you know Chris Wallace is just waiting to see somebody outdo him …
