" I've looked at these numbers and decided the #1 problem
is that Ben Gordon is selfish..." -your friendly bulls blogger
Yet they don't say anything about the Bulls pick at 26... I won't be surprised when they sell it for cash.
What do I need to show fire for? I'm not a dragon. - Lou Pinella
and still not sign Gordon
Just pocket that money Jerry! You need it in these rough times!!!
People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett
Posting this again.
I just think trades now days are where one team wants to win and the other team wants salary relief. The teams that have players we want are looking for Cap relief first, they are thinking about improving there teams in the long term. Therefore we are ending up on the short end of the stick.
Multiple reports out there that contradict this.
Including one from the ESPN Draft Buzz. Word is Chi is looking to trade up to 11. Word is it’s for Williams. Word is I just threw up a little in my mouth.
Word is word. Spot on.
1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your Kirk in that box
3. Make some team open that box

Did anyone forsee such a turn of events?
Bulls have no part in any blockbuster deal (it was highly unlikely, but still)
Bulls don’t trade Kirk Hinrich to Portland for salary cap relief (Jerry is cheap, but fuck it Kirk already has a family and a nice house in Deerfield, why bother him?)
Bulls use 2 1st round picks to acquire a swingman who cannot shoot as some kind of replacement for Ben Gordon, yet will never get minutes because John Salmons and Tim Thomas “play with energy.”
Bulls forget their best scorer is no longer on the team, trade Derrick Rose for Tyler Hansbrough and Jerry Reinsdorf moves the team to his backyard in Phoenix.
That Steve Nash is exactly the same as Kirk Hinrich, but worse.
