For all the James Johnson proponents out there. Pulled this from Doug's Bull's Confidential site. Pretty good video.

Good find

This video shows what Johnson can do with the ball. He seems like he has a decent post up game. He seemed like he over powered the defender a lot in this video quite a bit. I’m not sure if he will be able to do that in the NBA.

I vote for Thomas to play, play more and play regularly.-Sam Smith

My thoughts exactly.

He wasn’t really fighting for post position that much, he was just bigger than the scrawny guys guarding him. While he’s creative in finishing and seems to have some good instincts in pivot moves and such, I wouldn’t expect him to be a force in the post right away.

Poor Man's Carmelo Anthony?

That’s what I saw. Bigger (and 3 years older at draft time) and seems less explosive with the ball. But their measurements in size and athleticism are virtually identical. And the offensive 3/4 tweener that jacks too many 3’s and can go into the post against smaller guys (like Greg Paulus!) and can handle the ball… that seems pretty apt. I could definitely see him succeeding similar to Josh Howard. (Who was ridiculously athletic in his testing, by the way)

People should remember that while they have the right to their opinion, they are not entitled to be taken seriously. --Bruce Bartlett

he looked really fluid in these highlights.

the fact that i would want him to get into a little better shape only serves to add luster to his college accomplishments. even for a highlight film, it just looked like playing basketball was easy for johnson.
