That was a Memphis investigation
What else were they going to say? It’s not like they have any means of investigating or compelling people to talk. The entire investigation probably consisted of:
Memphis AD: Derrick, did you cheat on the SAT’s?
Derrick: Uh, no.
Memphis AD: Great, you’re cleared!

Investigation, what investigation?
Great analysis Big D. Very funny, but you nailed it!

What happened to the
handwriting analysis people? Is that part of these results?
Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

I was thinking about that too
In a Yahoo article it said that a forensics expert concluded that the handwriting on Rose’s SAT test was Rose’s. If that’s true, then how can the allegation that Rose cheated on the test be true?

It would be funny if after all this, it was determined that he didn't cheat
Maybe the NCAA has heard Derrick Rose give interviews this year, and figured there’s no possible way that guy could have passed the SAT’s without cheating.

The angle here isn't on Derrick
It’s actually on who was helping Derrick. The Simeon grade changing is suspicious. Of course, plausible deniability was entered into the record in the first report. Many people at Simeon used the same account for updating ALL the grades. So who dunnit? All of those who had access to the account or none of those that had access to the account.

If that's the case
(and I realize you were making a joke), then the NCAA should be investigating about 75% of basketball players and 90% of football players.

Have you heard the stories here in Chicago about Tony Cole?
Tony Cole played for Jim Harrick and Jim Harrick Jr. at Georgia. You might remember Jim harrick Jr’s infamous final exam where he asked students how many points were rewarded in the game of basketball for a successful slam dunk attempt.
Tony Cole passed this test, reportedly.
Tony Cole today has a rap sheet that somehow didn’t show up when Cook County performed a background search on him when he was presented as a new hire to assist the Cook County Chief Financial Officer.
Lying and cheating is wrong. In many cases it is against the law. It’s not looking too good right now for Derrick’s handlers.

Jim Harrick
Isn’t that the guy whose infractions of NCAA rules were legendary? Didn’t he make all the way to UCLA and win a championship, but despite that, had to be sent packing?

This is just the University of Memphis investigation
Not that they really had any leverage at all to lean on anyone for information, but these results are as expected. They found themselves innocent. Surprise!
