No, actually they overturned police cars, set small fires, and nearly started a riot. 15 championships, and they still don't know how to act.

I believe Chicagoans perfected this manner of "Celebratory destruction of big city"
Unlike some other big cities, Chicago remained calm after the Rodney King verdict. But when the Chicago Bulls won their second consecutive NBA championship, celebration turned to looting, arson and gunfire.

That Steve Nash is exactly the same as Kirk Hinrich, but worse.

Seriously what is it about NBA titles that gives people

a right to act like savages? Is it like that much of a euphoric feeling that you think you can fly or steal shoes? Well it is LA.

If the Bulls won a title today do you think people in this city would even care? If it’s not the Bears or Cubs I doubt it and back in the early 90’s it was like a knew feeling for this city.

I guess in certain parts of the city I could see this happening.

With Steve Martin? Ha yes

I would be the dude running out of like Dick’s Sporting Goods with a mob of people and I’d have like an arm full of Jordan’s while the news guys filmed me running out of the store with no disguise looking right at the camera….. if I was a rioter.

These riots have happened after MLB and NHL championships too.

I'm guessing the NHL riots were in Canada

Then again, maybe those Carolina Hurricanes fans were really excited about winning the Stanley Cup.

Why resort to name calling?
