Does it matter?

Hawks tied it in the 17th minute in the 3rd and won it on OT. Rose blooms everywhere.

Rose for Mayor!

Yeah, I know. Saw the game, but somehow missed Derick.

Does anyone want to NOT be a jerk and tell me what Rose was up to?

Did he drop the puck tonight?

Of course the one night it’s on Versus and they don’t show the puck drop is the same night they have somebody that I actually like doing it:(

What happened to practice derrick

Nah I’m kidding. Who told him we had a hockey team?

Expect to see his face all off season. They are going to market him.

The new face of the franchise has to be seen. I would not be surprised to see him drop in on the White Sox or Bears Games. He is like a VIP now. How cool is that!!!! It seems like Chicago sports is back!!!! LOL!!! This is also practice to take the shyness away and get him used to and more comfortable with the limelite.

I love it.

Ha ha

I love that people always say “we’re gonna take the shyness out of him” to people that are like that. I mean it could work if he truly gets comfortable I suppose. But it usually takes a while to even get use to like a class room of people so we’ll see.

He smiled in another photo. I am happy he is not a smilling brother anyway. Sometimes it can

be clownish. I’d rather see a brother who is all about business all of the time.

um... skates?

the skates

make Toews taller than he is. It’s not an asset to be above average height and a hockey player.

Zdeno Chara

disagrees very much w/ that statement…Kris Pronger too.

The odd lighting and shadows in that pic almost make it look photoshopped at first glance

here.

"They should. They better. I'm Vinny Del Negro!"

ha! The Vancouver players not even looking.

Those have to be the worst jersey’s in all of sports.

Seeing that makes me wonder what his life is like now.....

It must be amazing. Like a dream or a movie. Seeing him walk in and knowing he is from chicago and to hear how loud the blackhawks fans cheered when his name was called had to be almost surreal.

Amazing.

Yeah thats what I think a lot of the time

Though he was somewhat of a celebrity already in high school. Still doubt anyone saw all of this coming.

Does Rose have a twitter?

"The brownies,'' Fernandez said after the game. "The brownies are good for me to make three-points.''

Twitter?

I just looked and all I saw was a conspiracy theorist Derrick Rose from San Diego.

Hopefully Rose never gets a Twitter. I’d be amazed if he did do it he doesn’t seem like someone who’d want to.

by Camry on May 8, 2009 7:31 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

he definitely does appear to me like someone who WILL stay away from twitter.. good on him!

DRose is gonna carry us into the playoffs and take it to another level from there...
