I hope Paxson doesn't have any more say in personnel selections ...

He picked Tyrus instead on Brandon Roy. This responsibility was his job, maybe not yours or mine, but this really was a no brainer selection. Even over LMA.

Now if Tyrus height was a real 6’10 or better instead of 6’8" at the time and Tyrus stock wasn’t falsely elevated primarily on the 2006 NCAA tournament play of Big Baby Davis, then Pax had something to really contemplate. Otherwise he just made a flat out stupid move selecting LMA and trading LMA for Tyrus and Krappy. “Krappy” remember the stupid words “accumulating assets”. What assets, to use as a plane ride to Russia in which Pax probably footed the bill?

His core Noc, Deng and Kirk aren’t starters for the team, some might say Deng is? Deng won’t be for much longer! Similiar to Pax, a one dimenional (71 million dollar) project.

I haven’t been a fan of Paxson as a GM or his building of this team, and after the Tyrus selection in 2006, and the Ben Wallace signing (“enough was enough”) I became probably one of his top critics and still can’t wait until his “player personnel & the passive culture” influence on this organization is totally eliminated.

If he has to stay with the team “office space” his influence to the basement.

man up!
