Kinda a lot of hearsay...but take it for what it's worth.

They'd give up Gordon and Tyrus plus the 16th?

damn! For Chris Bosh?

Rose
Salmons
Deng
Bosh
Noah

Still not much of a defensive team but you get Chuck Swirsky’s boy Rupaul. I guess that means you keep Hinrich around?JR is happy. You get rid of Neil Funks least favorite players. TV and Radio happy. Yeah this makes sense.

Does it win titles? Probably not. Does it create a nice team to stand in Lebron’s way like the Cavs/Knicks to MJ? I’d say maybe.

Really rather Hinrich was in the deal instead of Gordon but oh well. Just a rumor anyways. I’d probably take this over what Miami is offering. Miami is always on the Bulls nuts. They ganked Wade from the Bulls also.

The deal would have to be in the summer, so I assume it would be a 2010 draft pick

Which would work out great for the Bulls, because with Bosh they’d probably be picking in the 20’s in 2010. I’d do that deal in a minute though. They may lose Gordon for nothing anyways. And let’s face it, as much potential as Tyrus has, I doubt he’s ever going to be as good as Bosh is. Would BG want to play in Toronto though? And would Toronto want to give him the money he’s looking for? I don’t really understand why NBA players don’t want to play in Toronto – some of these guys think Canada is a third world country or something.

Why resort to name calling?

If Ben gets the paper he feels he deserves

I don’t think he cares where he’s playing.

Dude

I think the defense here could be great. Noah has to hit the gym, but a Bosh-Noah frontcourt would be ideal. I’m for this one….actually. Gotta hope Deng gets back to his old self, if he does we’re a sensational team…..even though I would still take BG over Deng anyday, I think Bosh with our shooters is a great fit.

I will hate playing against Tyrus and see him come into his potential.

Looks good, but I doubt it would happen.

They would really be wanting to get rid of Bosh quickly and that partially has to do with what Bosh wants. Miami has been mentioned too and that has to be at least a little appealing over Chicago. Can’t discount weather and taxes. shrug If it means we get something for Gordon I am all for it. I’d like Gordon to stay with us, but the option of actually getting something legit for him has its appeal as well.

Who would Funk be a dick about once they are gone? Salmons maybe. But he is tall. Hm…

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

Correct me if I'm wrong but...

I didn’t think you could do a sign and trade as part of a multi player trade. I thought it had to be one for one when a sign and trade is involved. I’d rather it be Deng instead of BG.

Not true...

as the Eddy Curry trade was Curry and Antonio Davis for Tim Thomas, Michael Sweetney, Jermaine Jackson and the draft picks.

by CubFan81 on May 18, 2009 9:46 AM CDT up reply actions

if anything

it has to be a multi player trade, unless the incoming team has room to absorb the contract, since the outgoing team only sees it as half the salary, and it’s easier to match stuff if other players are involved (and even moreso with trade exceptions).

What about the bench.

The playoff’s have proven that u need a least a couple of thugs to come off the bench. That’s why I like the nugget’s to to win it all. Tattoos 117-Cavs, 37.
