Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

click on picture #29. If Dwight Howard got suspended, I don't see how Rondo can't. But he probably won't be.

Hmm thats a better angle than before

I thought definitively shouldn’t but with that one its a bit debatable…of course unless you’re the NBA.

A huge difference

is that Howard actually connected with his elbow, and the rule specifically mentions connecting with an elbow above the shoulders.

However, it is just further proof that Rondo is lowering his stock…

I wonder if there is a specific rule

For grabbing an opponent’s arm when the basketball is nowhere near anyone and whipping him around in a circle into the scoring table.

I would hope that would at least net Rondo a fine….. the league needs to take a stance at somepoint.
The elbow was tough to see but should at least guarantee some league punishment. Me thinks. But I wouldn’t be surprised one way or another.

If he hasn't seen it

then there is no hope, because it means his entire office is just PR lip service and there is nothing we can do

Hmmmmm

Interesting theory.

Go for it

that’s a good idea. Anything that will give Marbury more playing time (aside: has he just totally taken a steaming dump on his future from his performance in this series or what?) is great for our chances in game 7
