Nice to watch a game

where we don’t have to hear TT critisized for shooting a jumper

by Dils on Apr 9, 2009 9:16 PM CDT reply actions

i agree

however it would be nice if the announcers would realize that rose already does hit the mid range jumper regularly. I hate it when people say when he develops that shot he will be unstoppable….he already has a pretty good mid-range

by rosefromconcrete on Apr 9, 2009 9:18 PM CDT up reply actions

yea that always drives me nuts too

for instance, stacey king has said that about 300 times this year right after rose hits one…
well if you’ve said it that many times, he must be hittin a pretty decent amount of them, don’t you think?
other than that i love stacey though

Craziest frontcourt ever.

"Playoffs? Are we talking about playoffs? Really, I mean... Playoffs?"

by Khalid El-Amin on Apr 9, 2009 9:57 PM CDT up reply actions

Most idiotic frontcourt ever

Tyrus would never leave his habits behind when he sees Artest jacking up 20 foot jumpers 10 times a game for the hell of it.

Confusion breeds success. If they don't know each other, opponents can't have strategy. GENIUS.

by Ozzie Montana on Apr 9, 2009 10:11 PM CDT up reply actions

most idiotic frontcourt ever?

that’s a bit of a stretch, don’t you think? while i’ll agree that Artest’s offensive game makes me nauseous for the exact reason you mentioned above, i think you’re going a bit overboard.

everybody in Houston, from the players to the management, has given glowing reviews of the positive impact artest has had on that team. yea, he greatly overestimates his offensive ability, but he’s a tough, physical veteran who is still one of the best on-ball defenders in the league. instead of being worried that his erratic offense would somehow rub off on Tyrus (which, the more i think about it, is just a ridiculous thing to say), maybe you should realize how he could potentially further mentor tyrus’s defense beyond just making plays when he’s leaving his feet. there’s plenty of ways artest could impact this team’s defense pretty much overnight.

The Bulls can really score some points....I know it's a little obvious but man, I haven't seen a Bulls team score at will like this since the 90s.

They actually seem to be a better SCORING team than some of the Jordan-teams. However, those Jordan teams woulda’ shut this team down on with defense and won on sheer force of will.

Mystery is solved why Noah doesn't play in the 4th

Miller has more experience and better free throw shooting.

by runningman on Apr 9, 2009 9:24 PM CDT reply actions

And by playing Miller down the stretch every time

Miller will keep gaining experience and Noah will keep not getting any. Poor Vinny has a mathematical quandary to deal with.

by LoveForTheGame on Apr 9, 2009 10:01 PM CDT reply actions

It all depends on what they do with the cap space

Does it get them someone better than Billups?

Is the new team better than it would have been if they just added to the old one?

well dumars knows what he's doing at least

Also, Billups and Wallace were getting older, so they didn’t have much time to really improve that team and Lebron is dominating the eastern conference
