Yay, so it gets easier for the Bulls to back into the playoffs and for Vinny to

undeservedly hang onto his job. Ugh.

This is a 45 win team at least if they have a competent coach, but instead they’ll be lucky to get to .500.

Fire Vinny.

Thats what I was thinking

We should be fighting for the 4 -5 spot. Especially with the Sixers…we basically are a better shooting not slightly less athletic team.

agree

offensively, at least.

by Aiafati on Apr 3, 2009 9:58 PM CDT up reply actions

he'll be fired!

i just have a feeling. when the media and the broadcasters start talking you know his time is up.

No sane person would let this go on and the bulls will do what’s right.

You have two options either fire him after the season or fire him midseason next year.

they hired VDN because they have to fire him. basically they need someone to be patient with the younger players like noah, thomas and rose until they get their pieces around rose thats when they hire a real coach.

Pool and a pond... Pond be good for you.

hell yeah

i’ll take it. i mean, after all, i wouldn’t have predicted they would have beat both the lakers and heat.

by Jaina on Apr 3, 2009 9:16 PM CDT reply actions

Van Gundy was pretty smart about it

Coming off a back to back too they jumped on them early and frustrated them on both sides the best I’ve seen this year.

by Camry on Apr 3, 2009 9:43 PM CDT up reply actions

what's this doing

for the bulls is either it takes off a little bit of pressure out from them or makes them more complacent about winning games.

by Aiafati on Apr 3, 2009 9:57 PM CDT reply actions

you know

miami had 24 FT to charlotte’s 12, with 16 in the fourth quarter alone. wade had 11 total. so lame. i gotta feel for charlotte though we needed them to lose.

Though I do hate when that happens

The Bobcats beat us the first time off a phantom call. I don’t hold a grudge and its not exactly karma but still good for me. >:D

by Camry on Apr 3, 2009 11:00 PM CDT up reply actions

that phantom call was terrible, though we still had every opportunity to win the game.

but still, the fact that game even went to OT was absolutely ridiculous.

Hmmm

I’m wondering whats up with Sheed I didn’t see him on the injured report just showed a DNP.

But they have a couple back to backs at the end with some nice trap teams like Indy waiting for them.

by Camry on Apr 3, 2009 11:03 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah he might worry me the most there

Him exploding these past couple of weeks has been saving us.

Now I see it says Sheed is actually coming off the bench with limited minutes. Kwame is going to likely start for the rest of the season….hmmm…

Making the playoffs gives us a chance to see how Rose responds.

The next two games are critical. It is fun to be in April and be playing meaningful games.

by chgobr on Apr 3, 2009 11:15 PM CDT up reply actions

I'd just like to see how Rose

deals with playing the same team for a series of games. What adjustments he makes etc. It would be a nice control group to see how far he can push things. Of course the coaching is crap so there is only so much you will probably be able to get out of it…still worth it for Rose.

Everything I post is speculation. I have no insider information nor ideas deemed concrete enough by those who are self-elected to regulate post content.

by cranscape on Apr 3, 2009 11:35 PM CDT up reply actions

unless they play defense

i don’t know..we don’t know. i wish they could push it to a good series had they make it to the playoffs(which i’m not a hundred percent sure but i want them to) but it would be a shame to be raped by cleveland or any of those top three teams there. it would just show how much mediocrity is on the team and how much heart they have.

by Aiafati on Apr 3, 2009 11:44 PM CDT reply actions

You never know how players respond to the pressure of playoff games.

We may be better than we expect or worse. Either way we learn something about this team.

by chgobr on Apr 3, 2009 11:49 PM CDT up reply actions

I remember how Derrick responded in the NCAA Tourney last year

Minus those last two free throws.

I’m pretty confident he’ll be up for the games

by Option27 on Apr 4, 2009 12:21 AM CDT up reply actions

he only missed one FT

but I totally agree. Dude always steps up on the big stage

My greatest enemy is my inner me

by TheCool1 on Apr 4, 2009 10:54 AM CDT up reply actions

they might take one home game from the top 3 but i don't see it.

they should be swept. i can’t wait for the playoffs but vdn has just killed any hope i have for the bulls shocking the NBA ala Denver vs Sonics. Plus their defense has too many holes. it should be fun though. Until something breaks the game wide open and the route and embarrassment.

yeah Rose should be on rocket booster mode.

Pool and a pond... Pond be good for you.

by SoulEater7 on Apr 4, 2009 12:23 AM CDT up reply actions

don't really know whether i'm happy or not

that they lost again tonight.
