Del Harris on VDN

From the Boston Herald, Del loves him some Vinny Del Negro...

“Well, I think Vinny has probably been the most underrated coach in the league. I mean, if you’re talking about a favorite five, he definitely has to be in there if you’ve paid attention because, while we love the trade (that brought John Salmons and Brad Miller), we were doing well before that."

Well, Del, it was only because he had a shortened bench....

…and unable to screw the lineup rotations. We saw the same thing with Boylan last year.

They were 24-30 before the trade

If Del considers that “doing well,” I’d hate to see what he considers doing poorly.

Why resort to name calling?

they hard started playing well before the trade, the early part of the year they sucked

then before the trade Noc, Gooden, and Hughes were not getting as many minutes due to injuries and sucking – Tyrus got a lot more minutes, Noah too, and the Bulls benefitted.

THey were 7-3

immediately before the trade….that’s what he’s talking about.

Ok so Vinny seems to have the X's down.....now he needs to learn the O's.
