Hinrich came to play...

We can do this.

We gotta stop letting Perkins get deep position...

And it’s a shame I have to say that.

when kirk plays like this,

i kinda like the 3 guard lineup!

but then salmons must sit. it should be TT and Noah

DRose is gonna carry us into the playoffs and take it to another level from there...

by simonswiss on Apr 28, 2009 7:04 PM CDT reply actions

Rondo

is a little baby. Kurt came to play. BG is definitely hurt. Jo and Ty are kickin it.

by chicagohomer on Apr 28, 2009 7:05 PM CDT reply actions

We should tell Hinrich to prepare like he's starting

every game.

That 31 point game against Milwaukee came the day Gooden and Nocioni were traded and Miller and Salmons hadn’t arrived yet. Kirk knew he would play major minutes and be depended on.

It’s obvious that if Kirk prepares like he’s going to be a major cog, he can be much more aggressive and competent offensively.

I have to give Gordon credit.

He has stepped up his defensive intensity this series.

by benhertz on Apr 28, 2009 7:06 PM CDT reply actions

salmons rebounds, refuses to give it to the point guard and goes all the way

created the play though, but fuck, come on!

I hate seeing player interviews

right after they’ve been running for awhile.

You'd think the NBA would interview the coaches at the half

and not in-between quarters.

I don't give a fuck about Derrick Rose interviewing skills. I don't watch the bulls to see him talk.

I want to see him play and since he is 20 years old I expect he will grow into the personality role but the media can kiss my ass. That is the problem with the league right now.

Halftime analysis

Pierce and Allen have been absent. BG too on our side. If we can keep it like this we have a chance, which is pretty incredible. After game 3, I can’t believe this is where we’re at. Holla. The officials really suck. Need BG to step up 2nd half. If he does, and DRose feels it, we win. Can’t believe I just wrote that.

by chicagohomer on Apr 28, 2009 7:12 PM CDT reply actions

We're leading at the half

Against them AND the refs . . .

by Khalid El-Amin on Apr 28, 2009 7:21 PM CDT up reply actions

Well, yeah, it could happen, obviously.

But it does feel a lot like playing the Heat a few years ago, and they kept talking like the Bulls’ fun was over and Miami was going to show them what’s what in the next game, but then they just didn’t have the game to do it.

They got the one blowout, but then lost again to let the Bulls tie it back up, and now they’re letting the Bulls stay in it on their own floor in game 5. It just seems to me like the time to make a statement is already here, and they’re not doing it.

*Opinion subject to withdrawal pending second half. ;)

We keep talking about Pierce, but forget that DRose is a rookie, played all but one game, played heavy minutes and has now played longer than he ever has in his life.

This was a good spot to take him out and see if he can muster something in the 4th
