Pierce has not been getting the calls he usually gets, and I can see how that would
be frustrating, but to be fair, Pierce usually gets calls that are not fouls. He runs into the lane, runs into people, flails, and then whistle comes. The refs aren’t giving him those today.

True, every player in the NBA gets their lucky foul calls...
But Pierce is legitimately getting slapped around in the drive to the basket. The refs need to do their job and call the fouls.

You should check out the news some more. There was a time where Doc Rivers got charged a fee for talking trash about a ref (for a legitimate reason) and a referee got charged a fee for ejecting Doc Rivers for nothing.
The whole referee crew came together and argued about the fee that was given to the ref.
That’s just ONE reason why the refs would HATE the Celtics and Doc Rivers.

He’s getting slapped around when he’s charging to the basket. That’s a foul.
Did you watch Game 3? The Celts were slapping and hacking on everything, and weren't
getting called. They looked like the Jazz from last year with all that hacking. Also, the way the NBA is called is different from game to game, players have to adjust to the amount of contact that refs allow. Pierce should crying and grunting and start playing.

That's what happens when you don't have a sound defensive philosophy....
whether it be the way you apply help defense or swtich when certain players are involved. I wouldn’t be surprised if the players themselves are calling out the switch as opposed to following the coach’s instructions.

Blocks=worthless stat if you watched the game. Both of his blocks went RIGHT BACK TO THE CELTICS WHERE THEY SCORED AN EASY BASKET.
He’s shooting 3-10 in the 1st half which is just awful for a power forward. The Bulls can’t get a real big man in here soon enough.

because one of TT’s blocks led directly to a Bulls fast break. Regardless you need someone to do the dirty work, and TT is doing that tonight. A couple of his offensive rebounds led to points. Does he not get credit for that?
Not to mention that Salmons is 0-6 and Hinrich is 2-7. So TT isn’t the only player having a bad shooting night.
